Unser englischsprachiger Fahrer holt Sie von Ihrem Hotel in der Hauptstadt Phnom Penh ab und bringt Sie nach Kampot (ca. 160 km, 3 Stunden Fahrt).
Ankunft in der Stadt Kampot. Sie besuchen die Eisenbrücke, die den Fluss Kampot überquert. Es ist eine alte Brücke, die in der französischen Kolonie gebaut wurde. Besuchen Sie dann die alten Gebäude und gehen Sie zum Höhlentempel von Phnom Chhngok.
Die Fahrt zum Höhlentempel von Phnom Chhngok liegt abseits der Straße nach Kep, aber die Fahrt dorthin auf der kurvenreichen unbefestigten Straße kann sehr ermüdend sein. Wenn Sie jedoch an malerischen Ausblicken auf die kambodschanische Landschaft mit Reisfeldern, kleinen Farmen und Kalksteinformationen vorbeifahren, die mit dichter Vegetation bedeckt sind, sollten Sie einen angemessenen Kompromiss eingehen. Die größte Höhle ist die Heimat eines alten Tempels aus rotem Backstein, der unter einer massiven Felsformation ruht, die einem Adler ähnelt. Der Chhngok-Höhlentempel wurde wahrscheinlich im 7. Jahrhundert errichtet, insbesondere in einer Zeit vor Angkor, die in Kambodscha als Funan-Zeit bekannt ist.
Secret Lake oder Brateak Krola Lake ist eigentlich gar kein See. Der geheime See ist eigentlich ein Damm. Während der Ära der Roten Khmer wurde ein Damm mit Sklavenarbeit gebaut. Es ist ein riesiger See, besonders für einen künstlichen. Es ist die Reise wert. Das ist das Kambodscha, das wir zu entdecken gehofft hatten.

Der Markt ist ein großartiger Ort, um mehr über die kambodschanische Meeresfrüchtekultur zu erfahren. Great tour to visit Kampot, Crab market, Pepper farm, Kap, and hidden in cave temple. Comfortable vehicle, nice and informative driver/guide to took great care of us.

Amazing Kampot pepper farm. We visited old building in town, and went to salt fields but we can't see because of raining sea, farmers not work. Temple cave is good too. Pepper farm is the best one, local tour guide explained us about pepper farm and tasting. the end, we enjoyed fried crab with green pepper at Crab market. And we do not forget our driver, he was very friendly and told us information for all places where we visited. Thanks

The tour was interesting and fascinating. We saw a variety of different sights, amongst which we liked the pepper plantation the most. Simon, the guide and driver, was very nice and helpful. He gave us a lot of water. The car is spacious and comfy. We can fully recommend this tour!

I had higher expectations for this tour for the price but was disappointed. A long drive from Phnom Penh to visit a Pepper Farm and eat at a restaurant by the water. The Crab Market you would think it’s just that, a “market” but was just where you could eat crab/seafood by the water. The Salt field we did not go to cause it rained, smf the cave was not bad but nothing special. The best part of the trip was the pepper plantation and our driver Lim. Lim made the day enjoyable, fun and he was easy to communicate with. When comparing other tours in Cambodia, this is so over priced for what you get.

We had a lot of fun during that day! We were lucky to have a private group experience. Simon is an exceptional driver and we felt safe during the whole tour, even if that ended up lasting longer than expected. We are very thankful for him. Simon's patience, kindness and willingness to accommodate us was remarkable. His humble, discreet yet friendly personality make him a great driver and guide for social introverts like we are. He answered all of our questions and described the areas very well. We had a lot of fun at all stops, learned a lot, took a lot of silly pictures and ate delicious food (we couldn't decide between the lunch at La Plantation or at the fish market... so we did both and had no regrets. Simon helped us navigate the market and got someone to cook fresh crab for us with a pepper sauce : best crab I have ever eaten. The fried little crabs were also fantastic). That experience was educative, but also very fun - much less heavy in content than others we've done,l in the past days, a d we really appreciated that. We recommend it to anyone who just want to enjoy a series of fun experiences and discovery. La Plantation was a highlight, it was great to learn about this fair trade initiative that gives back to the local community. The tour was fun, it finished with pepper tasting. When we decide to go back to Kampot for a longer exploration, we hope that Simon will be our driver and guide again.
