This was an excellent tour, they certainly packed everything in on the planned itinerary before nightfall. Would highly recommend.
Very good staff, fee was a really good guide. Went to some beautiful places bamboo island and pods were our favourites. Only a small group on the boat which was nice The only complaint I have is the lunch box we were given before we started our trip. Cold chips with a sachet of ketchup. Some of us had chicken which was left in the lunch boxes, no refrigerated and out in the warmth.
Not off to a good start. We arrived at the office at the requested time. It was meant to be transfer from the hotel, but as we were 10 minutes walk, they asked us to meet them there. No big deal, but then we had to wait for over an hour for them to get everyone else together and get going. 20 mins or half an hour, I can understand, but over an hour!?! We weren't kept updated on the departure time. The trip as a sightseeing trip was very good. The places we stopped at were beautiful and for a full day tour this was great value for money. It's missing a sparkle. It's like everyone piling into a crowded bus and getting off at certain times. If you're near the last people on, you probably won't be able to sit together. People were loath to move their bags or legs so others could sit down and more often than not, you ended up having to squeeze in where you could. You spend quite a lot of time on the boat travelling. As its a packed speedboat, there's no view or breeze if you are towards the front. The guide was great. You couldn't get lost! I can still hear him shouting 'yellow boat!!'. As a vegetarian, the food wasn't great. My husband is a fully fledged omnivore, and he enjoyed his. The food on the beach in the evening was better. The veggie option was curry (not Thai) it was okay. I heard one lady complaining that it wasn't a bbq. It wasn't. Just as the sunset was really getting good, the beach closed and we were back on the boat. The experience made up for all this negativity. The beaches were beautiful, what we did get of the sunset was lovely, Maya bay and the sharks were a highlight as was snorkeling by the coral. I've never seen anything like it. The water really was crystal clear. It was like being in an aquarium. The guide was involved and was always pointing out points of interest or fish he'd spotted. The plankton was worth seeing. Although I found out later that swirling them about, isn't advised...
My husband and I wanted to travel through the Phi Phi islands and were nervous about hearing the reviews of it being overly crowded and not getting much out of the trip because of it. Yes, there are tons of crowds and boats BUT if you go with NAIM and his crew they make sure that everyone on the boat gets a good view and feels included. He knew exactly where to go when we snorkeled to see the sharks, clown fish, bioluminescent algae, and even sting rays! Regardless of swimming ability, he made sure everyone was able to see them and always kept the safety of the wildlife and people as his priority. On the tour, we also got to see Tucan and monkeys which Naim pointed out to us. I was also very impressed by his ability to teach us all fun Thai phrases and history during our time on the boat and translate effortlessly between English, Thai, and Spanish. I will say, this tour could’ve been a bust because of all of the people, and I often saw other boat guides just drop their people off with little instruction or recommendations at each island. However, Naim swam with us at every island and made the trip worth every bhat! Make sure to ask for him!
I did this tour at the end of March 2024. It was a small group of 5 people in a small speedboat with three Thai crew. We had very mixed feelings about the tour and I would probably rate it a 3.5/5. We started at the meeting point where we were told we had to pay 400 baht each extra for the entrance fee to Maya island which I didn’t see in the listing but it was mentioned within the ‘exclusions’. We then had to wait about 30 minutes and we aren’t really sure why as we were told to be there at the exact time we arrived. One of the main problems we had was the guide spoke very very limited English. He did try his best to communicate but it was nearly impossible. The majority of the island trips were nice but there was only one snorkelling spot we were taken to despite there being several advertised on the listing. Unfortunately these waters were also filled with jellyfish and sea life and our entire group were stung and/or bitten. Which was merely bad luck, but we would have appreciated to try a different spot. Monkey island was also very disappointing which is not at the fault of the tour at all but the island looks really gross. Filled with rubbish and dilapidated buildings. There was only one monkey we could see and it didn’t look very nice. The food was okay and we were asked to eat our lunch standing outside the entrance to Maya island which was a bit awkward. Dinner was a buffet given to multiple tour groups. We went to one bioluminescence spot but there was nothing there. The guide tried to show us what it looked like by pouring water into the boat but there was very little of it and it just looked like one or two blue sparks flying then disappearing. The plankton moves around a lot and isn’t often in the same position so you’re better off trying to do this on your own. Overall we had a decent time but we would have likely had a better experience if we could have communicated with the guides, asked questions, or asked if we could find alternative snorkelling spots not filled with jellyfish or a different spot that may have the plankton. We also didn’t appreciate being asked to tip them which we were not asked on any other tour we did in Krabi despite also being the most expensive tour of the lot.
Very good trip and worth the money. Not suitable for pregnant travellers. Staff were very good at handling the situation but we had to miss a couple of stops due to a pregnant lady’s morning sickness and waiting for her to get a boat back.
I booked my island trip at the last minute and it turned out amazing. The islands were beautiful with great views and tasty food. Our guide, Phi, knew a lot and helped us a lot. The plankton were not very bright but we could still see them. I wished we started at sunrise to miss the crowds, but the other tourists did not bother me much. It was a great time.

Me and my girlfriend had a memorable day and it was all due to the efforts of Max (tour guide) and his team! They were super knowledgeable, funny and caring…they could not do enough for us! Bamboo Island and Maya Bay were breathtaking! Thank you for a memorable experience!
