Vorbei an der majestätischen Wüste Wadi Rum und den Sharah Mountains fahren Sie ca. 2 Stunden direkt in die rosarote Felsenstadt Petra, ein Muss im Nahen Osten. Die legendäre Hauptstadt der Nabatäer ist berühmt für ihre Größe und wunderbare Architektur, und Sie haben heute die Möglichkeit, einen Teil davon zu sehen. Bei Ihrer Ankunft im Besucherzentrum beginnen Sie mit Ihrer Führung zum Siq, einer engen Schlucht, bis Sie die wunderschöne Schatzkammer Al Khazneh erreichen, das berühmteste Denkmal von Petra. Von hier aus fahren Sie weiter entlang der Straße der Fassaden und, wenn es die Zeit erlaubt, zu den Königsgräbern.

Von hier aus folgen Sie der Straße der Fassaden und, wenn es die Zeit erlaubt, den königlichen Gräbern. Gehen Sie auf eigene Faust zurück zum Besucherzentrum. Nach dem Mittagsbuffet in einem Restaurant kehren Sie mit den Erinnerungen an einen aufregenden Tag zum Kreuzfahrtschiff in Aqaba zurück.

Extremely well organised tour, conducted by a private driver/organiser who was very gentle with our 3 yo old twin. His suggestion of having a jeep ride to wadi rum was very much appreciated. After the beautiful but very touristic visit to Petra, the drive through the desert and visiting places we didn’t realise that they existed, realy topped it off
We recently did a day long shore excursion from Aqaba to Petra and then Wadi Rum. Our driver, Mr. Mohammed Hammad, was exceptional! Our ship arrived two hours late but he was still there waiting our arrival. He took some shortcuts on the way to Petra to save time and get us ahead of all the big bus tours. Once at Petra he introduced us to our local guide and we then spent about 4 hours exploring the impressive Petra. Mohammed had given us a phone so we could contact him when we were ready to be picked up which worked out very well. He also picked up lunch that we ate in the car to he make up some of the time we had lost due to our ship being late. We got to Wadi Rum in time for some touring and sunset. It was a magical day and Jordan Horizons and Mr. Mohammed made it all possible. Who highly recommend both of them!

Our cruise was cancelled due to coronovirus. So we had to cancel our tour to Petra. Just wanted to mention how professional the communication with this company has been since our initial inquiry about the tour. Look forward to visiting Jordan and Petra when we can reschedule the cruise and re book our tour with JHT.
