Reiseverlauf

Both the driver and our guide kept a good lookout for wildlife and we're able to see many unusual animals. Very fun and informative tour
85% of the excursion is spent riding in the shuttle, through desert-like terrain. We were 45-50 minutes late departing because we waited for a group of 4 to show up. The shuttle was packed to the gill, not even allowing for the guide to have a seat. She had to stand by the door the duration of the trip. Neither the AC nor the guide's microphone worked well. We were asked to pay for the national park entrance fee ticket before the van left the port. They wanted 47,000 Argentinian pesos or $35 US dollars cash. I specifically questioned the $35 as it didnt match the conversion rate. Because of that, we paid by credit card. They "conveniently" had the tickets with them on hand. The price on the tickets said 30,000 Argentinian pesos and the Valdez Peninsula website (which we checked later that evening) said $30 US. We were also told that the restaurant we would be visiting only took cash. Another tidbit that would have been nice to know beforehand. The guide was friendly and gave it her all but save yourself some time and money and rent a taxi.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We truly appreciate hearing from our guests, as it helps us review and improve our operations. Regarding the National Park entrance fee, the difference you noticed is due to the most recent official increase implemented by Argentina’s National Parks Administration. The current price shown on the official website reflects this updated rate. We do not obtain any profit from selling these tickets; we simply offer this option on board to save our guests time and avoid long lines at the park entrance, allowing them to make the most of their visit. Unfortunately, on the day of your tour, your ship arrived later than scheduled and the departure time was not adjusted. This affected not only our tour but all operators working that day, and as a result, the time available inside the park had to be shortened. We completely understand how frustrating this can be and regret the impact it had on your experience. We also appreciate your comments regarding the vehicle conditions and logistics. Your feedback has been shared internally so we can continue working on improvements, especially on days with high passenger volume. We’re glad to hear that the guide remained friendly and committed despite the challenges of the day. Once again, thank you for your honest comments and for giving us the opportunity to respond. Warm regards, Yellow Penguin Team 🐧
Overpriced food. Otherwise, an amazing experience. The food was too expensive though, 300 dkr per adult inside Legoland. Bring your own food! Great that you can have a map in the app and see attractions and how far to walk.
The tour actually exceeded our expectations. Our guide Sebastian was a genius, he knew a lot about everything: the animals, the history of the place, the geography... and he explained it with passion and a lot of patience. You could tell he enjoys what he does, and that makes all the difference. We were lucky enough to see a lot of animals in their natural environment, in a landscape that leaves you speechless. Sea lions, guanacos, maras, elephant seals... and even whales! All in a quiet environment, without crowds, that makes you connect with nature for real. It was a long day, but one that you enjoy from start to finish. I recommend it without hesitation to those who want to know Patagonia from a more real, wilder side, and with people who really know what it does.
Excellent tour of the Valdez Peninsular with guide David. Expect some fast driving on gravel roads for some of the journey and lots of wildlife. We saw Lesser Rhea and Elegant Crested Tinamou, Megallanic Penguins, Elephant Seals and Sealions. Exploring by myself at stop-offs gave a host of other birds too.
Thank you for sharing your experience! 😊 We're thrilled to hear you had an excellent tour of the Valdés Peninsula with David and got to see such an incredible variety of wildlife. 🐧🦭🐦 The gravel roads can be quite the adventure, but they sure lead to some unforgettable sights! 🚐✨ We appreciate you choosing us and hope to welcome you on another journey in the future. 🌍🐾
The beautiful landscapes Patagonia is spectacular!!!!😍. I recommend Yellow Penguin for all tours in Patagonia. You will find good prices, great professionals in tourism and friendly atmosphere that complements your wonderful vacation.
We took a family trip to Punta Tombo to see penguins, as my son loves them. At first, we had a lot of doubts about how close we could get, but we were surprised to be able to walk on trails where penguins crossed just inches from us. The service was excellent; both Guide and driver were very attentive throughout. I highly recommend this experience for cruisers. We were worried that the tour would be too long, but, as we were told, they are cruise specialists and everything went according to plan. Thank you! In the end, they gave us a chocolate penguin
