Wonderful experience. The guide was local and told in detail the whole story. The place is very beautiful and, in my opinion, better than the Castle of Dracula.
Irina was very responsive and would kindly answer all our questions. She was also very descriptive at the tour of all the castle rooms.
Irina was pir tour for Peles Castle, she was great! She was so passionate about the history of the castle, the architecture, and has so much valuable information. She answered all our questions and offered us perspective and background about castle, the city, and royal family. She was very friendly, flexible and accommodating. Also her english was perfect! I would recommend her and this tour to everyone
Amazing time and super knowledgeable guide. Was very informativ, professional and fun . The castle is breathtaking inside and out
We had a tour of Peles Castle with Irina on October 26th, originally scheduled for noon. Unfortunately, a mistake with our rental car reservation caused a significant delay. Irina was absolutely amazing throughout. When we reached out to explain the situation, she responded promptly and found an alternative time for us to visit. Once we arrived, Irina’s warmth and deep knowledge truly enhanced what was already a mesmerizing experience. She was not only accommodating but made the history of Peles Castle come alive, making our visit unforgettable.
Irina was a fabulous tour guide. She provided wonderful details about the history of the castle and the individuals who created it and those that lived there. She provided so much that we would have missed otherwise.
Irina was our tour guide, and she was very knowledgeable and made the entire experience of visiting Peles Castle awesome. We would highly recommend her and the tour.
The palace was incredible and the tour guide was knowledgeable. We were 7 minutes late due to the long walk up from parking that we did not plan for. The tour guide was very upset we were late and mentioned it several times. Apparently we were supposed to meet prior to the time but this was not known to us.
Don’t miss this tour with Greg. The experience was fun and filled with lots of information. Greg was excellent. Don’t hesitate. Book now
Peles castle is a gorgeous palace with a stunning alpine backdrop. Every hall is ornately furnished and decorated in various architectural/interior design schemes, most of which evoke other kingdoms abroad. There is much history to be appreciated in this place, and visitors will find themselves enraptured amongst crimson carpets and venetian columns. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and personable. She expedited our entry into the castle and was regularly in contact with us, making the process seamless. Some warnings: i suggest you bring Ron if you do not book ahead of time. Atms are unreliable at best and the ticket office does not accept card it seems; though the gift shop does. The train station is about a 30 minute walk from the castle and it is entirely uphill. Those who are not comfortable or able to walk long distances should arrange transportation or use the bus system.
Hi Daniel, We are happy that you and your friend had a great at Peleș Castle. Best, Greg
