Treffpunkt: Der Rathausplatz am Brunnen um 9 Uhr.
Unser erstes Ziel ist die touristische Stadt Sinaia, in der sich die Burg Peles befindet. Ankunft in Sinaia, einst ein exklusiver aristokratischer Erholungsort, wo wir das Schloss Peles besuchen, die Sommerresidenz der ehemaligen rumänischen Königsfamilie. Peles Castle ist eines der schönsten Museen in Rumänien und wurde in fast 40 Jahren von König Charles 1 erbaut.
Auf dem Weg zum Schloss Bran befindet sich eines der ältesten Klöster des Landes, das Sinaia-Kloster. Mit einer 300-jährigen Geschichte, die von einer besonderen Beziehung zur königlichen Familie geprägt ist, ist dieses ehrwürdige Kloster dank seiner zwei im Abstand von 150 Jahren errichteten Kirchen ein Muss.
Wir setzen unsere Reise zum berühmten Bran Castle fort. Um dorthin zu gelangen, müssen wir durch das Prahova-Tal fahren und die eleganten Gebirgsorte Predeal, Azuga und Busteni hinterlassen, die auf der Straße, die den fließenden Fluss Prahova durchquert, ständig zahlreiche rumänische und ausländische Touristen anziehen. Eine atemberaubende Naturschönheit öffnet sich vor Ihren Augen, aber die spektakulärste Aussicht ist von Busteni, wo Sie die höchsten Gipfel des Bucegi-Gebirges bewundern können: den Caraiman Peak, den Costila Peak und den Omu Peak. Es wird auch Draculas Burg genannt und liegt am Eingang des Bran-Rucar Passes. Ein bemerkenswertes architektonisches Denkmal, das zwischen 1377-1382 auf einem 60 m hohen Felsen errichtet wurde. Nach dem Besuch des Schlosses Bran besuchen Sie ein lokales Restaurant, wo Sie zum Mittagessen frische Salate, traditionelle Suppen, köstliche Sarmale, Fleisch, Hähnchen, Gemüse und andere regionale Gerichte (Getränke und Speisen auf eigene Kosten) genießen können. Im Dorf Bran kann ein traditionelles Mittagessen arrangiert werden.
Besuchen Sie die Festung Rasnov, die im 13. Jahrhundert erbaut wurde. Sie ist vielleicht die bezauberndste von allen! Die Festung ist die größte in Siebenbürgen und eine der am besten erhaltenen in Rumänien. Wunderschönes Panorama über Barsa Land von ganz oben auf der Festung.

- ACHTUNG : Sie müssen die Tickets im Peles Castle online für den ersten Zeitschlitz kaufen, der für den Tag der Tour verfügbar ist, auf peles.ro. Wenn der erste Zeitschlitz ausverkauft ist, kaufen Sie für den nächsten.

Amazing trip to Monestary, castles, and around Brasov and surrounding cities. Marius was an amazing tour guide, helpful, patient, informative and friendly. Highly recommend if you’re wanting to learn more and see more of Transylvania.

Mimi was our guide and she was fabulous ! Very knowledgeable and explained the history very well. Shame Peles Palace was closed on the day of our tour.
I booked three days before the tour for myself and a friend. We had a great time. Mimi has so much energy and told us lots of history about each site, and was very kind and patient in answering our questions, especially about vampires! A really great day and we felt that we got to see the main sites in a really fun way and without having to hire our own car.
Unfortunately the tour provider didn’t tell us to purchase tickets for Peleş Castle in advance so we missed out on entering this attraction but went to Pelesor (little Peleş) instead. Our guide Marius was very apologetic and did his best to make the rest of the experience worthwhile, and the tour operator has promised that he will message guests about this in future. It was in small print somewhere when booking (apparently) but we didn’t see it so were rather disappointed.

A nice excursion from Brasov in a minivan to Peles Castle, Rasnov Fortress and Bran Castle. We were picked up in the morning on time at the hotel in Braşov by ‘Mimi’ in their clean Mercedes minivan. Apart from us, only one other guest had booked the tour. So it was actually a private tour. During the trip to Peles Castle, Mimi told us stories from the region to make the journey time interesting for us. After about 45 minutes we arrived at Peles Castle. This was followed by a short tour of the outdoor facilities (the castle is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, but we knew this) before continuing to the nearby Sinaia Monastery. After the tour we continued to Râşnov (Rosenau) and the fortress of the same name. This is currently under renovation, which is why we could only visit the outdoor areas. But even that was very impressive. Afterwards we made our way to Bran Castle. Once in Bran we had enough time for a lunch break and to browse the numerous stores. This was followed by an interesting tour of the castle. After we had finished, taken all our photos and organized a coffee for the return trip, we strolled back to the car. We were even dropped off right in front of the train station in Braşov after consultation, so we didn’t have to worry about it anymore. Mimi has given a very great knowledge of the history and at each station very interesting lectures. On our next visit we will get back to her. Thank you for the wonderful day!
