Der Telegraph Rock hat die Aufmerksamkeit vieler Wanderer aus der ganzen Welt auf sich gezogen. Der Felsen ist weit vom zentralen Bereich der Stadt entfernt und befindet sich im State Park of the White Rock. Der Transferservice bringt Sie zum State Park, um die Wanderung zu beginnen. Es ist eine mittelschwere Wanderung und am Anfang etwas steil. Der Reiseleiter wird Sie auf dem Weg unterstützen. Von dort oben haben wir einen spektakulären Blick auf die Restinga da Marambaia, den Selvagem Beach und den Gávea Rock. Das Highlight ist Bigorna Rock. Sie können sich auf den Felsen setzen, um ein Foto zu machen, das den Eindruck erweckt, dass Sie an der Kante hängen. Jeder wird glauben, dass Sie ein Risiko eingegangen sind, als Sie dieses Foto gemacht haben.

Von dort oben genießen wir eine spektakuläre Aussicht, die die Restinga da Marambaia, den Selvagem Beach, den Recreio dos Bandeirantes Beach, den Barra da Tijuca Beach und den Gávea's Rock umfasst. Das traditionelle Bild von jemandem, der am Rand des Felsens hängt, wurde im Bigorna-Felsen (Übersetzung Anvil Rock) aufgenommen, der sich an einem der Punkte der Telegraph's Rock-Wanderung befindet.

I didn't go on the tour but I'm leaving a 5 star review because of the personal call the tour guide made to let me know that the trail would be too dangerous after the rain storm that came in overnight. It shows professionalism. Viva Rio.
The hike itself was good, but it is a strenuous activity. The hike is an hour long going up. Make sure u come prepared to hike and stay hydrated, u will sweat. Once you are at the top there is a wait to take pictures. There is no time limit or certain amount of poses you can do so the wait is 2 hours long maybe longer. There is no shade so u wait in the hot sun for hours since there is no limit, which was annoying. There should be a 5 minute limit per person to make the time shorter and have shade as we wait. The restaurant they take you to eat at is so hot, I almost passed out. They also didn't have any soap in the bathroom which worried me because the employees were using this bathroom as well. Overall, the activity was fun and Fabienne was great and really cared about our safety.

The hike is very strenuous, but the view is well worth it. Fabiano was excellent. He helped my friends who couldn't make it get an Uber back. He went above and beyond to check on everyone and make sure they were ok. He also gave his extra water and took pictures of us on the rock.
