Captain (Pirate) Joe was an absolute joy to be aboard with. He had extensive knowledge of the area, and the people that lived there. He was very energetic and funny. We brought our dog (Penny) with us, and she also fell in love with him immediately. It was great to see his love for dogs/animals, nature (stopped to pick up trash that was floating), and humans as we continued to chit chat during our private tour. I would highly recommend the 3-hour private tour (completely customizable). It gives you plenty of time to get a nice history tour with enough time to go to Peanut Island to walk around the whole island and swim for a good bit. Peanut Island is a definite must also. Lots of Iguanas everywhere which the dog loved to try and chase (lol), and great views all the way around. Overall, from booking to docking, Flying Lady boat tours and Captain Joe were outstanding and super easy to work with. 20 out of 10 recommend!!
Had a fun time with Captain Joe. He is a character for sure! Very fun person with a lot of local knowledge. He let the trip be customizable for what we were interested in doing. He spent about 1.5 hrs showing us the fancy homes along Palm Beach, the clear waters, and unique historical tidbits before letting us spend another 1.5 hrs on Peanut Island with our dog. I especially appreciated when he showed a lot of respect for the environment by stopping to pick up trash and make sure we picked up after our dog.
We had a great time. Our Captain, Paul, was a fantastic narrator, and was very informative. It is Florida , so the weather will not always cooperate. We wound up in a heavy downpour, but we just rolled with it. It made our trip a little more adventurous. My two young granddaughters had fun, and that’s what counts. The boat was very nice and spacious . Highly recommended!!
Great experience. Passengers ranged in ages from 79-20. Captain Paul was sooo informative. We skipped the island and just enjoyed the boat ride. The boat had plenty of room to fit 10 comfortably. Or more. I would recommend this 2 hour trip to anyone interested in learning about the West Palm area, who loves yachts and beautiful homes and who just enjoys a boat ride. There was shade on the boat. Thanks Captain Paul! You made the boat ride extra special.
