Erster Stopp dieses großartigen Tages: Forza d'Agro, ein kleines Dorf 450 Meter über dem Meeresspiegel. Sie werden das Gefühl haben, mit einem außergewöhnlichen Panorama zu fliegen. Wir werden durch die Straßen der alten Stadt aus dem 15. Jahrhundert spazieren und einige der sehen Orte am Set des Films Der Pate
Wir werden sofort auf das erste intakte Gebäude von 1972 stoßen: Die Bar Vitelli (Trimarchi-Palast), in der Michael Corleone Apollonias Vater um die Hand anhielt und ihm mitteilte, dass sein Name Michael Corleone sei und dass „einige Leute einen Preis dafür zahlen würden Viel Geld für diese Informationen, aber dann würde Ihre Tochter einen Vater verlieren, anstatt einen Ehemann zu gewinnen.
Jetzt ist ein Rundgang durch die Straßen von Savoca an der Reihe, einem Dorf aus dem 12. Jahrhundert, in dem sich die Bar Vitelli und die Kirche der Hochzeit zwischen Mike und Apollonia befinden. Fantastic experience. Our guide was outstanding. He was experienced, knowlegeable & personable.
Sergio was just brilliant. When he collected us there was a gift for each of us on our seat. His driving was immaculate and his local knowledge excellent. On the day we extended our Godfather tour to include Taormina and Castelmola and this was no problem for him. An absolutely fabulous and unforgettable day. Thank you so much Sergio
We had a brilliant day with Sergio visiting various Sicilian towns and villages. He felt a very safe driver (important to me as I'm a nervous passenger and petrified of heights!) and was very knowledgeable about everywhere he took us. We enjoyed ourselves so much that once we had visited Forza d'Agro and Savoca we asked him to extend the tour which he was happy to do. This meant we also got to visit Castelmola (which I would have been too scared to travel to if it wasn't Sergio driving) and Taormina. Thank you for a wonderful day, and for your restaurant recommendation which we followed and throughly enjoyed.
We had a fantastic day out with Sergio. He was very friendly, an excellent driver and particularly understanding with my daughter who is scared of driving on roads close to a long drop. He chatted to distract her and got her to the top! He also helped my friend who has painful knees. He was very knowledgeable and knew the perfect place to stop for delicious pizza. I can highly recommend Sergio for a great day out.
Great guide, very knowledgeable and friendly. Sergio took us on this beautiful journey through charming Italian villages, majestic churches, and other interesting places that we usually see in the movie. The bar Vitelli was iconic as were the views throughout the whole tour. We also had a taste of Sicilian pizza, wine and biscotti for lunch. I definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Sicily, and btw Sergio is keen on photography so he can also help taking beautiful shots for you.

Sergio was very friendly knowledgeable about not only the God Father tour but the towns and history of them. The views were spectacular. We went to a local pizzeria that was outstanding. This is a tour you should not miss. Sergio is now a friend.

We took 2 tours with Sergio . One was with friends on the Mt Etna tour which also included a tour and lunch at a beautiful vineyard/winery. As the first tour was so good we took a second tour the next morning as a couple touring Castelmola, Forza d agro and Savoca. Both the tours were exemplary . Sergio’s local knowledge and passion for his region makes his tours a very enjoyable experience. He is mindful of overcrowding and adjusts the itinerary to avoid the busiest tourist periods. The villages we visited on the second day we nearly had to ourselves. He is a very safe and skilful driver He is very accommodating taking us to try granita and brioche a traditional Sicilian breakfast . Being born and bred in the region he knows a lot of the locals and worthwhile attractions off the main tourist drag He is happy and friendly and speaks good English . Sergio was fabulous & amazing. Took us along the sea in Taormina, Isola Bella,. He planned our tour to avoid the cruise ship busses & crowds. Saw all the highlights from the Godfather movie as well as explaining how the movie was shot in other cities in Sicily. Church Maria S. Annunviata, Convent Agostiniano, Bar Vitali in Savona. Pizza at Pani-icio in Savona, best we had in Sicily. Walked around the streets of towns from the 14th to 15th century. HIGHLY recommend this tour.

If you are a movie buff or if you enjoy visiting local spots and old villages this tour is for you ! We loved every minute ,Sergio was so attentive and friendly,explaining in detail all about the tour and more ! He also presented us with a free Sicilian cap which authenticated our experience even more ! Such an enjoyable day ,in air conditioned comfort all the way ..we would highly recommend Sergio’s Godfather tour !
