Pashupatinath-Tempel, Hindu-Krematorium und ausführliche Aarati-Tour

Beschreibung

Totally frustrating, as it is an expensive tour, they don't have a pick up point in Bouddhanath and just made me ruin plans and waste time and money. Never showed and never called or texted saying that they were not going to appear. Unacceptable.
Dear Eduardo Thank you for your review and rating As we mentioned you in the message that due to emergency rescue tasks of the day when you booked trip and the following day, we were unable to attend your calls or texts, you booked at the last minute which is the main reason we didn't get to prepare the trip for you. We are sorry for any inconveniences. By the way we have fully refunded the amount you paid through Viator. Thank you for understanding Regards Nabin
Interesting temple and crematorium ceremony different from India. More intimate and families participate. Monks on the banks of Bagmati

Got a very deep and intense insight to the history of Pashupatinath Temple and surroundings. The cremation ceremonies were awesome and the Ararat ceremony was stunning. My guide provided me with a deep inside to all features and did answer all my questions to enlarge my knowledge of Hinduism. Can only recommend it!

This tour was amazing! It was very interesting for its cultural and historical significance and especially for the spiritual experiences. We sat with a yogi and participated in the cremation ceremony, both of which were extremely moving spiritually and emotionally. We were really impressed by the acceptance and grace of the Nepalese people we encountered during these experiences. Nabine was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and receptive to reading our interests and needs. It was definitely the high point of larger 3-week tour of India and Nepal. We highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants an in-depth cultural and spiritual experience.

It was the best experience in pashupatinath. I was there already twice but this time I came to places I didn’t know existed. Nabil gave me a lot of in depth knowledge and I received blessings of 2 yogis. However 5 hours seems long, it flew by. It was def 1 of my Nepal highlights.

A unique experience and great way to experience local culture. Nabin was very knowledgeable and provided an abundance of interesting information. The tour winded through Pashupatinath with smells of incense and sounds of bells. It was somber at times, witnessing grieving families at the crematoria. An educational observation of perspectives on death. The night closed with the festive ritual of Sandhya Aarati.

This is a must do in depth tour that is tailored to you! My guide was compassionate, attentive and knowledgeable and he did everything to make sure I got what I wanted out of this tour. I could never have done this on my own. I learned so much from him. This was absolutely amazing!

This is a must-visit experience when visiting Kathmandu. Having been to Varanasi it is a similar experience (Hindu cremation site) but I feel that the cremation site in Kathmandu is actually more accessible for viewing. It's a sobering experience to see the family members bring and prepare the body of the deceased, and then witness the actual burning of the body. I am really sorry I missed the Aarati Pooja ceremony as I feel it would have enhanced my visit. Nonetheless the actual cremations are a sight I won't forget.
Dear Jannee Thank you for your beautiful review and the rating We were so glad to have you as our valued guest this time and would love to get other opportunities in the days to come as well. We wish you have a great time ahead. With Regards Nabin and Entire HAT Team
I visited the Pashupatinath temple complex and crematorium in Kathmandu on a private tour. My guide was Nabin Dhital. This is an in-depth tour for people who really want to connect with the place. Nabin was very knowledgeable and told me a lot about the temple, which is an important Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. He also created a real connection with me. We wandered around the temple complex, which is quite massive, spent some time with a genuine sadhu where I had the opportunity to interact and ask a question, and later attend the sunset aarti ceremony on the banks of the Bagmati river. There were cremations taking place, and Nabin explained in some detail the rituals that were being performed. The funeral for a child brought tears to my eyes., but also made me contemplate the great circle of life and death. For me, this tour was a highlight of my trip to Nepal.

This tour is one of my favorite activities in Nepal, totally MUST DO and it’s a very unique experience. Guide is very professional and know all of the knowledge about local life and Hindu culture. Ceremony is unforgettable and when you see some people burn their relatives’ body by the river and memorize them, which is very touching and meaningful. Recommend!
