Erleben Sie die Emerald River Tour, ein ganztägiges alpines Abenteuer, das durch eine malerische Zugfahrt durch die Julischen Alpen einzigartig wird. Diese unvergessliche Bahnfahrt führt Sie über Täler, Brücken und Bergtunnel, die nur von der historischen Bohinj-Linie aus sichtbar sind. Unterwegs besuchen wir atemberaubende Seen wie Jasna und Bohinj, beeindruckende Wasserfälle wie Kozjak und Boka sowie den weltberühmten Fluss Soča mit seiner unwirklichen smaragdgrünen Farbe. Reisen Sie in einer kleinen Gruppe mit einem Minivan mit Fortgeschrittener und machen Sie Halt für kurze Wanderungen zu Aussichtspunkten und versteckten Juwelen. Für zusätzliche Aufregung werten Sie Ihren Tag mit Rafting, Ziplining oder Fallschirmspringen auf, während andere einen schönen Wasserfall in der Nähe erkunden. Die Smaragdflusstour beginnt um 7 : 15 Uhr.
Kurz vor dem Pass Vršič in Kranjska Gora liegt der Jasna-See. Es gibt Wanderwege rund um den See, der sehr klares, grünes und sehr kaltes Wasser hat. Am Ufer des Sees steht eine Statue des legendären Zlatorog (Bergziege), eine perfekte Gelegenheit für ein Fotoalbum.
Vršič ist der höchste Pass in den östlichen Julischen Alpen. Die Straße über den Pass wurde während des Ersten Weltkriegs von russischen Kriegsgefangenen gebaut. Heute gibt es eine russische Kapelle, die an die Kriegsgefangenen und alle Opfer des Ersten Weltkriegs erinnert. Die Kapelle erinnert an den Unsinn der Weltkriege.
Die Quelle des Flusses Soča, nach der die Emerald River Tour ihren Namen erhielt, ist eine der schönsten Karstquellen in unseren Bergen. Um die Quelle des Flusses Soča zu sehen, benötigen Sie 15 Minuten zu Fuß von der Hütte an der Quelle des Flusses Soča. Der Weg ist gepflegt und teilweise mit Stiften und Stahlseilen gesichert.
Boka ist eine Karstwasserquelle, ein Wasserfall und ein schneller Gebirgsbach, ein Nebenfluss der Soča. Der Wasserfall Boka ist 106 Meter hoch und 18 Meter breit und ist der prächtigste Wasserfall in Slowenien und in Europa. Wenn man die 33 Meter hohe Kaskade darunter hinzurechnet, ist dies wahrscheinlich der höchste Wasserfall Sloweniens (139 Meter).
Auf dieser Reise können Sie sich für einige optionale Aktivitäten entscheiden. Wählen Sie zwischen Zipline in Bovec (dem größten Zipline-Park in diesem Teil Europas) oder wenn Sie sich trauen, aus 4000 m Höhe zu springen, gehen Sie zum Fallschirmspringen. Sie können sich auch entscheiden, nichts zu unternehmen und diese Zeit damit zu verbringen, einen zusätzlichen Wasserfall in der Nähe mit unserem Fortgeschrittener zu besuchen.
Die Napoleon-Brücke ist eine graduierte Steinbrücke über die enge Schlucht des Flusses Nadiža, die um 1812 erbaut wurde. Sie ist ein Zeugnis für die Bedeutung dieses Durchgangsgebiets seit der Römerzeit. Der alte Weg von Pradola und Robidišče in Richtung Nadiža führt über die Brücke. Der Wasserfall Kozjak ist einer der schönsten Wasserfälle im Nationalpark Triglav. Der Wasserfall hat eine dunkle Kammer geschnitzt, aber die Decke ist eingezogen und die Kammer ist jetzt ein Wasserbecken mit blaugrünem Wasser.
Steht am Zusammenfluss der Flüsse Soča und Idrijca. Als sie den Damm am Fluss Soča für das Wasserkraftwerk errichteten, bildete sich hier ein Stausee. Die wunderschöne unberührte Natur, klares Seewasser und zahlreiche Wasservögel sind Anreiz genug, den Most na Soči See zu besuchen. Auto Train Die berühmte 1906 erbaute Eisenbahnstrecke verbindet Most na Soči und Bohinjska Bistrica. Mit seiner Ursprünglichkeit, Viadukten und dem längsten Eisenbahntunnel Sloweniens (6327 Meter) wird er jeden verzaubern.
Der Bohinjer See ist mit 3,19 km2 der größte ständige natürliche See in Slowenien. Es liegt in den Julischen Alpen auf 526 Metern Höhe zwischen Pršivec im Norden und Vogel im Süden. Dies ist einer der schönsten Seen im Nationalpark Triglav und auch die letzte geführte Haltestelle der Emerald River Tour.
Die Emerald River Tour endet in Bled um 19 – 20 Uhr.

The tour far exceeded our expectations! Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable and shared his insights with us throughout the day. We really liked the variety of experiences and the small size of our group.
We had an incredible time on our tour! The alps were incredible and our guides were amazing. We saw three waterfalls, drove up to a scenic overlook, and saw multiple lakes/rivers in the national park. We also got to learn more about the history of Slovenia and do the zip line experience. The guides were very knowledgeable and helped make the trip very enjoyable! I would highly recommend this tour.

First time coming to Slovenia and I booked this day trip. The day itinerary was so packed and a many things to see. Few places you have to hike and must wear hiking shoes, some trials were moderate level. Our tour guide, Jess, was so wonderful, friendly and patient. We had a private tour as it was just us-love it. Jess showed us a secret place which we found very interesting and good find. Overall our experience of this day trip was tiring yet unforgettable and we love it so much.

Legendary and fun trip led by Jesse who is an absolute legend in every sense. The trip itself was good, you see alot of highlights you wouldn't see on your own unless you hire a car and with a cool guide who makes it interesting and fun. Jesse went above and beyond with this aspect and not only did he lead th tour and keep the fun vibe going, he chilled with us in the breaks time aswell. Great trip, great guide.
We had a fantastic and varied tour, lead by Jess, who was knowledgeable, friendly and a very skilled driver! As a small group we really bonded too and had a delicious lunch with the most spectacular view! There was some walking (up and down) but nothing too challenging, with plenty of comfort breaks - highly recommend!

I honestly didn’t know what to expect when I booked the Emerald River Tour with Mamut Slovenia, but it turned out to be unforgettable. When I walked into their office, I just told them I wanted to see as much of Triglav National Park as possible. They really delivered on that – I still can’t believe how many different places we managed to experience in just one day. The mix of landscapes was incredible: clear green rivers, waterfalls tucked away in the forest, mountain views that looked like they belonged on a postcard… every stop felt different, and yet the day never felt rushed. We always had enough time to actually look around, take photos, or just sit quietly for a moment. A big part of why it was so special were our guides, Tjaš and Maruša. They were professional, of course, but also really easy to talk to and full of little stories about Slovenia. By the end of the day, it honestly felt like I was exploring with friends rather than on a tour. Even though we were out from early morning until evening, the time just flew by. Looking back, this was definitely one of the best days of my trip – maybe even one of the best travel days I’ve ever had. If you’re on the fence about doing it: go for it. The Emerald River Tour is worth every minute.
Our trip to Triglav and Soca valley was nothing less than perfect. We were lucky to have Tomasz as our guide. He was kind, knowledgeable, patient and passionate. He gave us clear instructions, answered all our questions, and he made sure everyone felt included. It felt like going on a trip with a family member who wanted us to have the best experience and not miss anything. The itinerary was well planned and executed. All the stops were so scenic and looked something out of a postcard !
