Pamukkale Tour ab Izmir

I really liked the tour with Emri. He has an excellent command of what he is explaining and I could see how he’s fluent in both Spanish and English. I appreciated that he gave us alone time to enjoy Pamukkale as we wanted. Wise decision!!

Erman was a wonderful tour guide, knowledgeable and laid back. I really appreciated the smooth pick up and drop off and the consideration given to a solo traveller. 10 stars!

Title: A flawless experience with an incredible guide! Rating: 5/5 We took this tour from Izmir on August 1st, and it was easily the highlight of our trip to Turkey. Pamukkale is absolutely breathtaking—the "Cotton Castle" is even more stunning in person, and the ancient city of Hierapolis is steeped in fascinating history. It is 100% worth the journey! A huge shoutout to our guide, Alperen, who made the experience truly exceptional. He was incredibly kind, approachable, and friendly from the moment we met. His knowledge of the historical sites was immense, and he provided detailed, clear explanations that brought the ruins to life without ever feeling rushed. He also gave us great tips on where to take the best photos and how to protect the travertines. We also felt completely safe throughout the drive. The driver was professional, drove very safely, and was just as kind and cooperative as Alperen. The vehicle was comfortable, and the AC was a lifesaver in the August heat! If you are considering this trip, do not hesitate. It is a long day from Izmir, but it is absolutely magical. Thank you, Alperen, for a memorable day!

The tour was excellent. Our guide Alperen was great, very friendly and very knowledgeable! He presented the area’a history and present day in an approachable way.

Organisation and guide Alpi were great. Alpi is very cheerful and knows all the history / presents it well. In general i expected more of Pamukkale, it is hard to walk on travertines so i did not go far. I¹t is also hard to swim in Cleopatra pool as there are a lot of stones in the pool.

We enjoyed the experience, as 2 females security wax our main priority which is why we opted for a group excursion. Our guide Ekim was very helpful and shared some interesting facts. We had a long journey there and back and about 1 hour 40 mins maybe at the site itself(which i feel could be longer if they cut out the visit to an onyx factory), the driver was Amazing, very accommodating. The one thing i absolutely disliked was the food (seriously couldve been better since im sure there are more options).

I cannot be more happy with my experience for this full-day excursion trip accompanied by the excellent Erman Uslu. Restful yet paced to maximize the visit time with no fuss at all. It was a small group adventure in one of the most spectacular places in Turkey. Lunch surprisingly good included in the Viator fees. I would suggest any other traveler booking tour by Gezenthi Travel to ask specifically for Erman presence as a guide.

The place is a dream, the excursion is very well organized, I like the format of explanation and free time so that everyone can enjoy it as they wish. Our guide was Erman, you can tell he knows a lot and that he likes his job, a total genius. The driver Aykut was also very attentive and pleasant, 10 points for both. I want to highlight the place where they took us for lunch, everything very tasty and fresh. I am glad to have booked several excursions with them!

Excellent guide in English and Spanish. Very kind, punctual, and with great knowledge of the history of Pamukkale and Hierapolis. His explanations made the visit much more interesting and enriching. Totally recommended.
