Weiße Travertinterrassen, antike Ruinen und Thermallandschaften treffen auf dieser ganztägigen Pamukkale-Tour von Izmir zusammen. Das Programm dauert etwa 12 Stunden und kombiniert geführte Erkundungen, Mittagessen, Freizeit und lokale Erlebnisse.
Beginnen Sie in Hierapolis, einer der wichtigsten Siedlungen der hellenistischen und römischen Zeit. Erkunden Sie die archäologischen Überreste und bewundern Sie das kürzlich restaurierte Theater, während Sie von einem professionellen Fortgeschrittener etwas über die Geschichte der Stadt erfahren.
Weiterfahrt nach Pamukkale, dem berühmten „Cotton Castle“, wo mineralreiche Thermalwässer über Jahrhunderte brillante weiße Travertinterrassen geformt haben. In der Freizeit können Sie die erlaubten Abschnitte der Travertine betreten, durch das warme Thermalwasser spazieren gehen oder gegen ein zusätzliches Eintrittsgeld vor Ort das Antikbecken von Kleopatra besuchen.

Pamukkale a site not to be missed.
Our week stay in Izmir ended with the referenced tour. It was definitely worth the visit to Pamukkale. The organisation of the trip, from pick up to drop off was great. Stops were included during the journey to and from the historical site. This ensured the driver got a break as well.
Along the way and on site our tour guide shared a lot of information, historical facts and gave clear directions and instructions so we could enjoy the experience fully and safely.

Best tour guide ever!
Great tour, highly recommended!
We had a fantastic tour lasting around 10 hours, including a very good-quality buffet lunch. What really made the difference, however, was our tour guide, Ekim Ates. He is extremely knowledgeable about Turkish history and geology and was able to explain everything clearly and in detail at each of the places we visited. We really enjoyed his explanations.
He is also a very kind and caring person, always ready to help foreign tourists whenever needed.
My only suggestion would be to allow a little more time at Hierapolis/Pamukkale. An extra 30–60 minutes would have made the experience perfect.
Overall, I’m very happy with the tour and would definitely do it again. Highly recommended!

Great trip
The trip is very well-designed and relaxed in place. The cotton castle and the historical town were both amazing and our guide Ekim Ates is just amazing, he’s very Knowledable of the attraction and are also fun to talk to. Our driver John is also highly appreciated for the hard work.

You should do it
Well balanced day decided into seeing the ruins, the amazing travertine, and swimming in the ancient pool. Knowing that st. Philip is buried on site was a plus for us. Our guid Erman was knowledgeable and very nice. You must go there if you visit Izmir.

Highly recommend an unforgettable experience

Amazing to see the travertines!
Pamukkale was amazing! Our guide Ekim was also great and very punctual! I do wish we had more time at the travertines! 2 hrs to roam was just enough to make it to the end of the travertines and go to Cleopatra’s pool for 15 mins (which was 600 try extra). Maybe at 30 mins to 1 hr extra. Also the onyx factory tour is not on the tour guide - I know this is par for the course but it could be listed and shorter stay.

Excellent guide, limited chance to see all
Our guide Erman Uslu is a very kind person, well prepared for necessary information and shared in the right time. The tour itself is OK, bus for 15 guests is modern and clean. Pick up at hotel worked well at 7.30. The guided part was informative enough. The site is huge and within the 2 hours free time you have to choose what you want to see, otherwise it is a rush or even not manageable visiting both the theatre and the thermal bath. Museum or necropolis even couldn’t get into the choice due to time pressure. Lunch was OK. Onix factory was not in the original plan but OK. More free time should be considered giving to guests
