Pala-U befindet sich im Nationalpark Kaeng Krachan, Thailands größtem Naturschutzgebiet, das sich nach Westen bis nach Burma erstreckt. Der Park beherbergt einen unberührten Regenwald mit riesigen Bäumen und vielen Vogel- und Säugetierarten. Der Tempel Wat Huay Mongkol ist eigentlich ein Tempelkomplex, in dem sich die größte Mönchsstatue der Welt befindet – die Statue des berühmten Mönchs Luang Phor Tuad. Der berühmte Mönch Luang Phor Tuad wurde vor 400 Jahren am Ende der Ayutthaya-Periode in Nakhom Si Tamarat (in Südthailand) geboren. Luang Phor Tuad war berühmt dafür, Wunder zu vollbringen, und die Thailänder glauben, dass sein Bild Schutzkräfte besitzt, um sie vor Naturkatastrophen und dem bösen Blick zu bewahren. Der Mönch Luang Phor Tuad ist ein heiliger Mann, der von vielen Thailändern bewundert wird, die ihm aus ganz Thailand ihren Respekt erweisen. Die Thailänder glauben auch, dass das Tragen eines Amuletts von Luang Phor Tuad den bösen Blick fernhält und ihnen viel Glück bringt. Es gibt einige kleine Geschäfte, die diese Amulette und einige andere Erinnerungsstücke im Park verkaufen.

Der Kaeng Krachan Nationalpark ist der größte Nationalpark Thailands. Es liegt an der Grenze zu Burma und grenzt an das Naturschutzgebiet Tanintharyi. Aufgrund seiner Nähe zur Touristenstadt Hua Hin ist er ein beliebter Park. Es wurde am 26. Juli 2021 zum UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe ernannt
Erreichen Sie den Wasserfall Pala U und gehen Sie durch den Dschungel bis zum schönsten Ort, an dem Sie schwimmen können. Der Name „Pa Lau Wasserfall“ leitet sich vom Wort „La-U“ in der Karen-Sprache ab, was „Bambus“ bedeutet, weil das Gebiet dieses Wasserfalls voller Bambus ist. Der Wasserfall Pa La-U befindet sich im Nationalpark Kaeng Krachan auf einer Fläche von rund 437.000.000 Quadratmetern mit der reichen Natur und Tierwelt. Zu den Wildtieren, die leicht zu sehen sind, gehören Gibbons, Elefanten, Igel und seltene Vögel wie Rotkopftrogone, Grünschnabel-Malkohas, Schieferspecht, Rostbrustkuckuck usw. Es gilt als ein weiterer geeigneter Ort für Vögel Aufpassen. Der Wasserfall hat insgesamt 15 Kaskaden mit individuell unterschiedlicher Schönheit. Das Aufsteigen auf eine höhere Ebene ist entsprechend schwieriger. Das Personal empfahl den Besuchern, auf die 5. Ebene zu klettern, da der steile Pfad aus Sicherheitsgründen begrenzt ist.

We were elected promptly from our hotel lobby. The guide 'Amp' was very friendly and informative about the area we were visiting. Constantly pointing out areas of interest. The meal typical Thai, with a great view.
We had a last minute booking and therefore an extra charge, what we didn't know is that we had a private trip for it! The driver/guide told us a lot during the trip and responded to all our questions. Specially made a small tour change so he could show us more Thai agriculture. In detail, but without imposing, he told us about the faith and culture of Buddhism at the temple with Burda monk. The highlight was the breathtaking beautiful waterfalls where we also swam between the carp. At the end there was a delicious Thai meal at a beautiful idyllic restaurant. So don’t hesitate if you’re looking for another last minute trip.

Very nice experience with eventually a splash in the cool clear water. After a climb, largely doable, sometimes some scrambling we reached level 4 of the waterfall. Here we fed the fish with black grains of fish food that we bought at the entrance. We swam among the fish towards the waterfall. It is not deep, some pieces of stone are a bit sharp, the water shoes came in handy. On the way up, a huge number of colorful butterflies flew. In short, beautiful! Definitely recommended.

The nature and jungle is impressive, unfortunately our expectations were a bit disappointed as we hoped to see and discover more wildlife on this tour, especially elephants and monkeys! Elephants unfortunately did not show up and monkeys there was only a small school on the side of the road but also only because they were just being fed! In the jungle itself you only saw a lot of butterflies and a few lizards! The food afterwards was great! And our tour guide super nice, friendly and very educated! He spoke German, which is another plus point! Conclusion: all in all I found the tour a little too expensive! Even if the jungle experience was good!
Thank you for your review, even if it was too expensive for you. Unfortunately, it is the case that a private booked guided tour costs more than a group join tour because you only drove alone. In addition, as a registered travel agency, we have to comply with Thai regulations, pay taxes and insurance for all guests during the tour. We also have to pay the minimum wage to the driver and tour guide. Since the tour is designed as a jungle tour, there is of course the possibility to see animals, but this is not a guarantee. The English-speaking tour guide was free of charge to offer you a good private tour and excellent service. Nevertheless, I would like to thank you for your booking.
Trip was worthwhile. Guide was very informative. Took us to a number of cultural sites and then to the scenic hike. The waterfalls were picturesque, but challenging to get into the water with the fish and the slippery rocks. The lunch overlooking the hills was delicious. The drive was picturesque. We saw a whole group of macaque monkeys on the way.
