Beginnen Sie die Tour in Barranco, dem unkonventionellsten Vorort von Lima. Wir werden Barrancos Central Park, seine Stadtbibliothek, die traditionelle Seufzerbrücke, die Kolonialhäuser und seinen berühmten Boulevard sehen. Als nächstes fahren wir den South Pacific Coast Highway hinunter nach Pachacamac, dem wichtigsten Zeremonienzentrum an der peruanischen Küste während der Prä-Inka- und Inka-Zeit. Im Laufe der Jahrhunderte war Pachacamac von vielen verschiedenen Andenzivilisationen besetzt, wie den Limas, Waris, Ichmas und schließlich dem Inka-Reich. Das Pachacamac-Orakel blieb jedoch immer ein religiöses Zentrum. Wir werden einige pyramidenförmige Tempel und Einfriedungen aus verschiedenen Zeiträumen sehen: den Adobitos- und Alten Tempel (I CAD), den bemalten Tempel (VIII CAD), eine Pyramide mit einer Rampe (XIII CAD) und den Sonnentempel (XV CAD). . Neben den Ruinen besuchen wir auch ein Museum vor Ort, in dem Keramik, Textilien, Muschel- und Steinverzierungen sowie das bei Ausgrabungen gefundene hölzerne Pachacamac-Idol ausgestellt sind (1938).

Diverse experience with a walking tour of Barranco area of Lima which gave us an insight into the diversity and artistic cultural aspects of this beautiful area. The trip out to Pachacamac was also fascinating and quite awe inspiring to understand how the site has been excavated and to gain knowledge of how these early races lived, created the temple and other areas of the and how they worshipped their gods. Our guide and driver were both knowledgeable and respectful of the location.

The best tour we've had in Lima, Excellent guide with brilliant English and very informatitive in local knowledge and history, well rounded tour seeing the highlights of the area.
