Ounasvaara und Ranua Zoo

The zoo is walking around slight up & down but beautiful natural pathway over the vegetation & the animal enclosures. The animals have a large area with natural setting. Very impressive park. Went in summer can have mosquitoes.

We had a wonderful day at the zoo after walking up Ounasvaara in the morning. Joey was a great guide who ensured we had a memorable day. He was attentive to our needs and did everything he could for us. We loved seeing animals we have not seen before in zoos in Australia. The only downside was the vehicle provided by the tour company was probably below the standard required. Air-conditioning didn't work. Rusty panels. No step to get in and out.

We had a great time at the zoo & Ounasvaara! Albert was a great guide and gave us a lot of info about Finland, the nature, and the animals we saw. We didn’t feel rushed and got to enjoy everything. Definitely recommend this tour if you love nature & all of its creatures! Thank you Albert for being a great guide!

Had a great day doing the Ounasvaara and Ranua Zoo. The hike to Ounasvaara was not difficult and the view from the top was really breathtaking with autumn colours and surprise meet with reindeers along our hike. The wildlife park trip was also a great one meeting various Lappish animals and good amount of information shared by our guide, Clement. We didn’t see the polar bear though, he/she must be sleeping in its cosy house.

Had tina as my guide, she was amazing at guiding the tour and i had such a good time! I came back for 3 more tours the next few days 🥰

Thank you very much our guide Elmira Chen, took us to visit the zoo, explained very clearly, people are also very lively, well together, hopefully the next time there is a chance to see her. This trip to Finland is really amazing and I loved the whole atmosphere of Finland and hope the next time I have the chance to come to Finland.

For the first time in the snowing place, visiting the zoo is really a very special experience, and also lucky to see the dreamy polar bear, of course there is our lovely elmirachen, fun to guide us, make this trip to Finland more happy and impressive.

The zoo can see polar bears and a variety of cat head eagles, the guide Elmira Chen has a concern for every member of the team, some characteristic species can be explained, but it is unfortunate that in the Ornassic Forest due to the snow and the weather, otherwise the whole trip is very good!👍
