Die Installation des Bildhauers Richard Serra im Naturschutzgebiet Brouq besteht aus vier Stahlplatten mit einer Höhe von jeweils mehr als 14 m, die sich über einen Kilometer der öden Wüste im Westen Katars erstrecken. Sie können sogar einen Strauß oder eine Gazelle im umliegenden Wüstenreservat entdecken. Die 1,5-stündige Fahrt westlich von Doha beinhaltet ein wenig Offroading. Richard Serra stellte eine neue stehende Kunst aus Flacheisen auf, die etwa 15 m hoch ist und in der Wüste von Katar enthüllt wurde. Richard Serras The Artist, von dem bekannten amerikanischen Künstler Richard Serra's für Katar geschaffen, heißt "Ost-West / West-Ost" und befindet sich etwa 60 km außerhalb von Doha im Brouq-Naturschutzgebiet in der Nähe von Zekreet. Die massive flache Spannweite 1 km von der Gegend entfernt und "liegt in einem natürlichen Korridor, der von Gipsplateaus geprägt ist".
Festung Zekreet Katar Die Landschaft der Halbinsel Zekreet weist eine einzigartige und faszinierende Geologie auf. Salzebenen, Felsen und offene Wüstenplateaus dominieren diese Landschaft. Hier gibt es keine Sanddünen, seltsame Felsformationen und großartige Ausblicke über das blaue Wasser des Golfs. Der Bir-Zekreet-Kalksteinhang ist eine Bleichwüste mit stürmischen Felsen, freiliegenden Säulen, großen Kalksteinpilzen und seltsamen Formen, die von Klippen hervorragen. Der Strand liegt im Herzen der Stadt und in Strandnähe. Die Strandfelsen mit ihren natürlichen Kurven geben uns einen Eindruck von der sorgfältigen Schnitzerei eines großen Künstlers. Besuch der Eye Wall am Ende der Tour.

Muhammad was an outstanding guide for the East–West / West–East tour. We visited the mushroom rocks, film city and many more.
