Saw a lot of Orcas, was so cool and Sam was super knowledgeable. Done a few whale watching tours but this was my first time seeing any!
Great Captain and Assistant (Jack/Utah) was very informative and helpful. The “learning” part and the beauty of the ride were definitely “5+”. No birds at all, not many other sea animals (a couple very cool starfish and a few seals) was a little disappointing and because of distance restrictions the whale views are mostly ‘whales tails’. It’s definitely cool but personally, I would have liked more. My friend on the trip loved it to a 5!
Our guide Harry and Captain Chaz gave us an incredible whale watching experience. Harry’s insight and commentary kept the tour fun and engaging. We saw a pair of orcas and followed them for several minutes. We also followed a humpback whale. In addition, we saw a lighthouse, sea lions, and Octavious, a nearly extinct species of otter. It was a smooth ride on an early July afternoon. Great family friendly activity. Definitely pack layers…..I added my packable down jacket and windbreaker to stand outside.
We enjoyed our time on the boat and saw some humpback whales and a couple of pods of Orcas! What an experience! It did start out a little funky with some kids setting off a fire extinguisher behind me and I started to cough and found it difficult to breath. But we opened the windows and got the air flowing and it quickly thinned out. It was some kids that set it off and they were running around the whole trip up until the end when they all fell asleep. They seemed to be the main distraction and were definitely a handful. But even with that, the crew did great the naturalist, Calvin did an outstanding job and Elliot, the captain, brought us safely back to the harbor! Kudos for the great experience! Thanks!
A wonderful experience. Harry was the most incredible naturalist and conversationalist, hard to believe he’s only worked one season! Phil was an exceptional captain as well, very knowledgeable. Wish we could have been around the orcas a little bit longer than we were, but then again I would’ve wanted to follow them all day if I could. Just amazing to see everything out on the water!
Prepare for a breezy rough ride on the seas... Harry was informative and fun and we got to see a pod of Orcas near Canada.
My husband and I had a perfect time on the Classic Whale and Orca Tour. It was a beautiful day so we were happy to sit out on the deck but the boat also had an indoor option. The crew was very knowledgeable and was easily able to answer questions regarding what we were seeing. We saw multiple orca pods, a grey whale, seals, and bald eagles and their hatchling in its nest. The group size was smaller than other boats I saw out on the water that day, which is gave our tour a more intimate experience. 10/10 would recommend.
Knowledge, fun, & friendly staff.
Wonderful. Saw orcas! Goal achieved! Captain Gabe was nice. Helper on boat, TK, was very informative and answered all the questions we asked. They knew exactly where to go to see the whales!
TK & Gabe were absolutely amazing :) we saw 3 different pods on 6/27 views and weather was phenomenal
