Der Olympic-Nationalpark ist dafür bekannt, dass es mehrere verschiedene Ökosysteme zu entdecken gilt: subalpine Wälder, Wildblumenwiesen, gemäßigter Regenwald und die zerklüftete Pazifikküste. Bei dieser zwölfstündigen Tour können Sie jedes dieser Systeme ausprobieren und haben den zusätzlichen Vorteil, dass ein erfahrener Führer alle auftretenden Fragen beantwortet. Erkunden Sie die Gezeitentümpel entlang der Küstenstrände, streifen Sie durch alte Wälder, wandern Sie auf Bergrücken mit atemberaubenden Ausblicken und halten Sie an von Gletschern entstandenen Flüssen und Seen Ausschau. Die Tour beginnt mit einer gemütlichen Fährfahrt über den Puget Sound zur Olympic-Halbinsel. Die genaue Reiseroute wird vom Reiseleiter zusammengestellt. Unser erster Halt wird uns jedoch normalerweise am Hurricane Ridge finden, wo Sie eine unglaubliche Aussicht auf das Tal darunter und die schneebedeckten Berge in der Ferne genießen können. Wir fahren weiter zum Crescent Lake und zum saisonalen Sol Duc Valley sowie zu einem Sandstrand entlang der Straße von Juan de Fuca. Bitte planen Sie einen Fußmarsch von sechs Meilen ein.

Ein wunderschöner, gletschergeschnitzter See, der so klar ist, dass Sie tief im See liegen. Hier befindet sich eine Nationalpark-Lodge, ein schöner Ort zum Entspannen, wenn Sie nicht zu den Marymere Falls und alten Bäumen wandern. Kajaks und andere Boote können gemietet werden, wenn Sie nicht wandern möchten.
Ungewöhnlich kristallklarer See mit Pfaden durch alten Wachstumswald zu Marymere Falls.
Optionaler Parkstopp. Der Herbst ist höchstwahrscheinlich die Zeit, um aufzuhören. Ein sehr hübscher Wasserfall, ein Wald mit altem Wachstum und Gebieten mit gemäßigtem Regenwald. Im Herbst läuft auch saisonaler Lachs. Wandern oder wenn Sie Ihren Badeanzug mitbringen, können Sie in heißen Quellen baden.

Wir fahren mit der Fähre zurück nach Seattle und nach einem langen Tag sehen wir oft den Sonnenuntergang über dem Wasser. Seattle immer größer werden zu sehen, ist eine großartige Möglichkeit, den Tag zu beenden. An Bord servieren sie Bier und Ivars' Muschel-Chowder.

13 hours is allot of driving Blue waters in rivers and lakes Just as beautiful as ocho rios in Jamaica

We took this tour with Joel last Friday and we absolutely loved it. Joel was a fantastic tour guide, very informative, funny, and accommodating! And the views, fabulous! It is crazy to go from walking around a warm beach/tide pool area to snowing and cold at the top of the Cascades in the same day. It was a lot to fit into one day, but Joel did it wonderfully. The bus was roomy and comfortable and they pick up/drop off at multiple locations in downtown Seattle. Highly recommend this tour, but done well rested!

Great way to see Olympic Park in a day! No worries about driving the distance from Seattle!! Our tour guide Kevin was amazing - very nice, knowledgeable & really fun! We had plenty of time at each stop to enjoy the beauty!! Comfortable ride & stop for lunch (great sandwiches). Wonderful excursion!!

Took the tour with my mom and had a great experience. Kevin was a great tour guide and kept us entertained on the bus with destination info and stories, also kept the group on schedule. It was stunning to walk on the Hurricane Ridge and Lake Crescent was beautiful. There were quite a few elder people on this tour (including my mom) and Kevin did a great job managing the pace while giving folks breaks. Really great experience- will plan to book the same company / guide for Rainier tour when I’m back to Seattle

The guide, Kevin, was fun and knowledgeable and made the trip pleasant. I had hoped for more time to enjoy the park. The amount of drive time was unfortunate, though the distance is long.
