Eine Veranstaltung rund um das Lebenselixier Olivenöl. Die Produktion von Olivenöl auf dieser Insel geht auf das Jahr 3500 v. Chr. zurück, während der minoischen Zeit. Das Festival findet auf einem alten Bauernhof im Dorf Sisi mit Panoramablick auf das kretische Meer statt. Während dieser Tour erleben die Teilnehmer lokale Traditionen und genießen eine einzigartige gastronomische und lehrreiche Reise zu den kretischen Ernährungsgewohnheiten. Abholung: Wir werden die Teilnehmer von den Abholpunkten abholen. Je nach Standort Ihres Hotels/Apartments unterscheidet sich die Busfahrt.
Pädagogischer Teil Werkstatt: Olivenöl Erfahren Sie alles über die alte Olivenölmühle aus dem 18. Jahrhundert bis hin zur preisgekrönten ökologischen Olivenmühle der Familie. Workshop: lokaler Honig Die Teilnehmer sehen, wie Honig aus lokalen Bienenstöcken hergestellt wird, und erfahren etwas über die Aktivität der Bienen. Werkstatt: Raki Erfahren Sie mehr darüber, wie Raki hergestellt wird, das berühmteste alkoholische Getränk. „Rakokazano“ ist nicht nur ein Prozess zur Herstellung von Raki, es ist ein Ritual, das tief in der kretischen Kultur verwurzelt ist. Werkstatt: Seife Erfahren Sie, wie die Kreter Seife aus Olivenöl herstellen und welche wichtigen Vorteile sie hat.
Weinprobe Probieren Sie hervorragende Weine aus lokalen kretischen Rebsorten, ausgeprägte Aromen und erfahren Sie alles über ihre Herstellung, die bis in die alte minoische Zivilisation zurückreicht. Hausgemachtes kretisches Essen im Holzofen: Besucher der Farm werden authentische lokale Speisen probieren, die im Holzofen zubereitet werden. Die Mahlzeit umfasst Gemüse der Saison, Ackerbohnen, Pommes Frites als Beilage, Salate aus dem Garten des Besitzers, begleitet von einer großen Auswahl an Vorspeisen. Alle Gerichte basieren auf Olivenöl.
Live-Show Verbringen Sie eine fröhliche Nacht wie ein Kreter, tanzen Sie in griechischen Rhythmen und genießen Sie unser wunderbares Orchester und unsere Tänzer.
Markt für lokale Produkte: Die Teilnehmer haben die Möglichkeit, lokale Produkte mit hohem Nährwert und hoher Qualität, die sie während ihrer Tour bereits probiert haben, direkt beim Erzeuger zu kaufen.
Ende der Tour – Ankunft in den Resorts: Einschiffung in die Busse und Rückfahrt zu den Hotels, in denen wir die Teilnehmer zuvor versammelt haben. Je nach Verkehr und Abholort jedes Einzelnen wird die Zeit der Rückfahrt zum Hotel unterschiedlich sein.

Great evening...presentation of oil quite short but excellent food and drinks as well as great show ..I highly recommend
There is a lot of information to take in, and it can get a bit noisy when there are a lot of people on the tour. Be prepared to spend lots of money on the amazing products available in the gift shop. The buffet dinner was out of this world, and the music and dancing afterwards was great fun.
First off, to me I read the itinerary as saying that it will take 30 minutes to travel from Heraklion to the event. Though it does say this can vary depending on how many people you are picking up and traffic, I still would expect it to be within the 30-60 minute range. It took us over 2 hours our bus to get there from our hotel in Heraklion. And about 1 and 45 minutes to get back. So if you’re thinking of doing this and you’re coming from Heraklion you need to consider whether this is worth it. That said, for us it was worth it in the end. Upon arrival, after a short sit down, we started the workshops. This is advertised to last 1 hour 30 minutes. It lasted us around 45 minutes. About 10-15 minutes at the soap and honey section and then about 20 minutes at the olive oil station. There was no raki station as advertised and no explanation given as to why not. Each one we did was interesting enough. There was also no wine tasting as advertised. There were two bottles of wine on the table but that’s not really wine tasting. There was no lesson on the production of the wine as advertised. And again no explanation as to why this wasn’t happening. The food was fantastic though. A nice selection of Greek food. Now where things really came to life was when the dancing started. They put on a great show but what really made it great was when we could all join in. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this. There are also a few surprises along the way which I won’t spoil. So, for us at least, we had a great night. However, if you want what is advertised then you might be sorely disappointed. Especially if you have to spend 4 hours on a bus. If you’re staying closer to the venue then travel time will be shorter. So if you’re like us and you like a good food and a dance then you might think it’s worth it. If not then I would give it a miss as the experience is lacking in most other areas. The event starts at 7pm and finishes at 11pm.
The bus ride is long if you come from Lygaria. Don’t worry, the return is much faster, but the experience is worth it!! We had an excellent evening, discovering the making of olive oil, making soap, making honey, the extremely good and local buffet meal! The Cretan dance evening is really great! A special prize for Lisa, our French-speaking guide, a person of great kindness, empathetic, available, many thanks to Lisa for this very beautiful evening.🥰
Excellent tour. More than punctual. The location outside downtown Heraklion is just perfect for this kind of tour. We were shown the olive oil production process, we had a great LIVE show/music, we were able to dance and the food was quite good. The views were very good.
Fabulous night out - beautiful setting, quality food, free flowing wine, excellent entertainment! Would highly recommend! They even added a special birthday mention for my husband!
Brilliant night the olive oil tour is really good and they showed us how they make soap with olive oil, the food was really nice with a large variety, the dancing was very entertaining great fun thank you
Had a great night. A fun program with a (short) tour, delicious food and good wine and then typical Greek dances. They really make it a great party, really an addition to the holiday (for young and old).
The trip around the olive oil factory was interesting if a bit crowded and noisy. We had a soap production demo and a chance to sample the products as we were led around the shop as usual in these type of places! The food and unlimited wine was actually very nice and LOTS of it, a good variety of dishes and flavours and no complaints from me there! The dancing and music, to my ears, was definitely cheesy and typical and the dancers could have looked a bit happier to be there at times! Although I chose not to dance many others did and from the looks on most of their faces they were having a whale of a time including my wife who bounced and two-stepped her way around the dance area for a good while!! . Nice staff, good hospitality and an evening that I really can't complain at for the money! . Would I book again? In all likelyhood I probably would! It was fun and a nice way to spend an evening!
