Wir holen Sie von Ihrem Hotel oder Ihrer Residenz in Dhaka City ab und fahren in Richtung Sonargaon (ca. 1 bis 1,5 Stunden Fahrt). 11 : 00 – 11 : 30 Uhr : Zuerst besuchen wir die Goaldi-Moschee, die 1519 n. Chr. in einem Dorf Goaldi in Sonargaon von Mulla Hizabar Akbar Khan unter Sultan Hussain Shah erbaut wurde. Es ist eine der alten Moscheen von Bangladesch. Wir machen hier eine kleine Teepause.
Boro Sardar Bari in Sonargaon ist ein historisches Herrenhaus, das 1901 von der wohlhabenden Kaufmannsfamilie von Sardar erbaut wurde. Das Gebäude ist für seinen eleganten indoeuropäischen Architekturstil bekannt und verfügt über große Säulen, Bogenfenster und komplizierte Designs. Einst ein Symbol des Wohlstands, dient es heute als Teil des Sonargaon Folk Arts and Crafts Museum und zeigt das reiche kulturelle und künstlerische Kulturerbe Bengalens. Es ist eine der prominentesten Attraktionen in Sonargaon und spiegelt die Größe der Vergangenheit der Region wider.
Wir werden das Hauptgebäude (Prasad) besuchen, das einst ein Palast von König Isa Kha war. Jetzt wird es für Volks-, Kunst- und Handwerksmuseum genutzt und deckt auch das neu errichtete Gebäude der Volkskunst ab. Wir gehen durch den ganzen Campus, um die antike Hauptstadt Bengalens zu erkunden.
Wir besuchen die Panam-Stadt, die im Jahr 1500 n. Chr. erbaut wurde. Einige wohlhabende Hindu-Herren betrieben hier ihr Geschäft und machten eine Stadt mit allen Einrichtungen zu leben.Das Gebiet ist durch eine einzige Straße geteilt, die die wichtigsten Gebäude des Kolonialsystems ist. Diese künstlerischen Gebäude werden uns die Antike von Bangla nehmen. 13:30 – 14:00 Uhr : Wir nehmen unser Mittagessen in einem nahe gelegenen Restaurant mit lokalen Speisen ein, die ein wenig würzig und heiß sein können. Bitte teilen Sie uns nach der Buchung mit, wenn Sie spezielle Bedürfnisse benötigen. 14:00 – 14:30 Uhr : Wir machen eine kleine Pause unterm Grünbaum und klatschen uns aus.
Wir fahren zum Meghna Fluss, um auf einem Boot zu fahren. Der Megh ist einer der drei großen Flüsse in Bangladesch. Sonargaon liegt am Ufer des Flusses Meghna.

It is a half-day tour from 11am. It is better to confirm the opening date of each facility in advance of the participation date. It is recommended to bring an umbrella to avoid sudden rain. Both pick-up and drop-off can be specified by the hotel, so it is safe to say.

We took this tour on a very hot day in late April, and it was great to have an air-conditioned vehicle to take us from one location to the next in Sonargaon. At the guide's request, we ended up departing at 1pm instead of 11am, which meant the tour was a little shorter than expected (as we still returned at 6pm). As a result, some of the stops felt a little rushed and it would have been nice to have an extra 10 min or so at each place (we were at each stop for 15-30 mins rather than the 1-2 hours indicated in the schedule). The most relaxing part of the day ended up being the optional boat ride. This small criticism aside, we were able to see all of the promised highlights and felt very satisfied with the tour overall. (In all honesty, the times indicated in the schedule would be too long for most of the stops, especially in the heat - something inbetween would be ideal). Both our guide, Shahadat, and driver were very professional. Shahadat gave us useful information prior to departure, accompanied us to each of the attractions, and even took photographs for us, and we had a safe and punctual journey. Comparing this tour with others on offer, we felt it was very good value indeed and would recommend it to anyone in Dhaka looking to get outside the city and see some more of beautiful Bangladesh. Five stars!
