It was neat to see the cemetery up close and personal. The tour guy was nice and seems to have a lot of stories, but he talked entirely too fast and we couldn’t hear understand most of it. It was very hot, wish there were earlier times available, luckily there were misters and covered areas to stand under. It would have been nice to have some time to explore and walk around after the tour was done.
I learned so many wonderful facts the tour guide was knowledgeable and very nice I would always recommend this tour it was educational and the souvenirs were great.
The hour went by almost too quickly. Our tour guide, Mary, gave in depth history of the city, the cemetery, and its people. She connected events in New Orleans to broader historical events and trends in the United States and abroad. Would do this over in a heartbeat.
Great tour guide. Zelda was very knowledgeable about the history of the cemetery and of New Orleans.
Mary was an amazing tour guide with such family history to add. Her passion was felt for what she does and the city she lives in.
Taylor was entertaining, knowledgable and fun!
Very informative. Learned a lot about Louisiana/New Orleans history. Quick hour but hot/humid in June!
My boyfriend and I booked this tour on our recent visit to New Orleans and we had a great time! Taylor was our tour guide and we really enjoyed his style of story telling. It felt like the perfect length of time and a good value for the price. Easy to find meeting place with very clean restrooms. We were even able to walk from our hotel in the French quarter! We took a morning tour so we were able to enjoy before it got too hot and would highly recommend you do the same if you are visiting in the summer.
It was very informative but it was not entertaining. The guide was good but…some a little down on the Catholic Church of years ago.
Very interesting. Learned about the history of New Orleans and why so many cemeteries throughout the city. I did see a crypt with my family name. I was unable to take a picture because the rude obnoxious guide would not let me stop for half a minute he was to concerned about his schedule and listening to himself talk. Saying yea everyone sees their family name here and talks about a lot of nonsense on that. Would have taken less time for me to take a picture then him running his mouth. Two days later I’m still upset can’t remember the jerks name other than he thinks he owns the place.
