Auf dieser Tour besichtigen Sie die Kathedrale von Santiago und können über ausgedehnte Treppen den Glockenturm erklimmen und dann zu einem unglaublichen Aussichtspunkt an der Spitze des Tempels hinaufsteigen. Von hier aus haben Sie den besten Blick auf das historische Zentrum von Santiago, mit einem unglaublichen Panoramablick auf die Plaza de Armas und die umliegenden Gebäude, darunter die Gemeinde Santiago, das chilenische Postamt und das Nationale Historische Museum Andere. Die Geschichte der Metropolitankathedrale reicht bis ins Jahr 1745 zurück, als mit dem Bau des heutigen Tempels begonnen wurde, der fünften Kirche, die an diesem Ort vor der Plaza de Armas errichtet wurde. Im Jahr 1775 wurde die Kirche schließlich geweiht und einige Jahre später war der italienische Architekt Joaquín Toesca mit dem Bau der heute sichtbaren Fassade betraut. Die Kathedrale wurde am 6. Brandon was our guide; the experience he provided us was great. The reception and the tour were very pleasant. We traveled from Chiloé and wanted to enjoy our last day in Santiago; the tour was very entertaining and educational. We had an incredible experience touring the Cathedral of Santiago with Brandon. The guide was excellent, not only for his knowledge, but also for the entertaining and approachable way of telling the history. He explained details to us about the architecture, the history of the Cathedral and the people who were behind its construction, making the tour very interesting and enjoyable. In addition, we had the opportunity to see the interior and go up to the skyscraper of the Cathedral, where we were able to see the first bells of Santiago. Without a doubt, it was a very special experience. And as a plus, a kitten accompanied us during the whole tour that became our little guide and joined us up to the heights of the Cathedral 🐈⬛. 100% recommended, we had a very good time and learned a lot. Thank you for making the tour such an entertaining and memorable experience!
