Abseits der ausgetretenen Pfade: Kamelsafari-Tour mit Übernachtung in Jaisalmer

Beschreibung

Great experience in the desert party for 3 days and 2 nights I absolutely do not regret it and recommend it to 200%
Very good experience with Ganesh travels. The desert safari was just amazing. Really enjoyed their service.
Our 2-night desert tour was a very good experience, but not so because of the desert; First, Sebastian who is the face of Ganesh tours inside the fort is very friendly, speaks fluently English and comes with good humor. He followed through with everything we discussed and came on time (not Indian time 😉) and offered us a shower after 2 nights in the desert. Second, our guide Fataresh. Wow what a camel man! He truly has the heart in the right place. Learned English just by working with tourist for a long time and therefor is a proper guide sharing everything he knows with good humor as well. And the food he cooks with just a woodfire, it’s amazing! Don’t expect a big buffet since you have to bring all food, water and blankets on your camel, but his dahl, chapati and chai is just all you need :) Fataresh comes with good energy and isn’t affraid to open up. Very good experience and learned a lot about his life and about living in this part of India. I think this is what we are going to remember most, besides the views from our bed. Third, the ‘desert’ itself. Since tourism is main income in this region and camel safari’s ‘off the beaten track’ are popular, you won’t find any place where no one’s been before. During the day trips we were just by ourselves, but even in these less touristic sand dunes you’ll still find other campers, jeeps or even a drone waking us up one morning 😅 In conclusion: book the safari with Ganesh tours! Maybe if not for the ‘desolated desert experience’, but moreover for having the chance to meet this part of India, the people behind the camel safari and having just amazing food underneath the starry sky.
Sebastian did an excellent job organizing our desert tour and camel safari! The sites were beautiful and dinner by the dunes under the stars was spectacular!
My wife and I travelled into the desert with Sebastian who runs Ganesh Travel. He was born within 5 km of the place where we rode the camels and we visited his family and spent some time with a bunch of wonderful children and their mothers. The camels were very tame and careful with us and we eventually got to place where Sebastian and his Uncle cooked a wonderful meal. Altogether a great experience which we absolutely loved Don’t miss this particular safari because it’s well worthwhile . People can stay overnight if they wish. We saw unusual birds and also a gazelle. Don’t miss this the sunset was amazing
A lovely time! Everyone was wonderful, even the camels, and sleeping under the stars in the desert was magical!!! Oh, and the food was awesome!
Excellent experience, with very good people I recommend them all
Wonderful experience. Arjun and the camel men took very good care of us and made sure we had a great time. They were friendly and professional and great company. We opted for the tent option as it was so cold. Plenty of food was provided. A few problems with TripAdvisor though regarding communication before the trip so I don’t really know what was going on.
Arjun and the camel men made this desert trip very memorable, they were very kind, helpful and professional. We opted for a tent as it had been so cold, we were very warm and comfortable. I loved this trip, the desert was beautiful and the people were lovely. There was a lack of communication from TripAdvisor and Ganesh Travels prior to the trip but that would be my only complaint. I would wholeheartedly recommend otherwise.
ganesh travel I had a group of four people who didn't go through the inn I booked directly at his shop, so I got a pretty cheap one. The tour itself was very good. He picked me up from my hotel at 2 o'clock, toured several villages and rode a camel for about an hour. I'm glad the camel handler is smiling, too. We spent some time pouring chai about camping points. Dinner was like curry, chapati and cooked rice, which my guide cooked for me and my friend helped me with. It was already very good. It was January 11 now and the night was very cold and the first snow of the year fell. The food we ate together around the campfire was delicious. It was quite cold because I slept under the stars without a tent. I slept well because I wore heavy clothes and brought my own shrub, but my friend said it was too cold to sleep. In the morning, we made a bonfire and drank chai. Breakfast is like sweet cereal, banana and bread. I ate enough. It's 11 a.m. when we get back to the hotel in the jeep, which is perfect time. Say hello to my guide Roger.
Dear sir, Thanks a lot for such a wonderful review which you wrote for our company. I have been doing camel safari in thar desert since 1990. So all we have is a great huge experience of thar desert from it every corner and a very happy and healthy camels. Our trips are different from all the rest of the city's normal trips. We are expertise in deep desert trip from 1 to 4 days In desert. In the very reasonable price you can have deep desert trip. With us Because we believe in more fun for you and less profit for us . whereas other companies trying to sell you shorter common trips with higher prices for more profit for them and less fun for you. I hope anyone who read this response will get in touch with us before they book their trip to desert. Best regards Sébastien 99292 80777
