An excellent tour with very knowledgeable guide who was friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend Jose's tours!
Our guide was not a guide at all. She did not give information about Mangalore.and could not answer basic questions we asked about Mangalore. Unfortunately this impacted our tour
Taking care of clients needs , One of our friend can’t find his shoes outside the temple where we need to took our shoes off before entering. Afterward he took us to the shop next to the market to buy one.
It was a disaster. We were on a terrible bus with 10 other people. We were not all on the same "itinerary" and none of our highlights were covered. We were supposed to be on a 5 to 6 hour tour and we were back in 4 hours. Guide was not really a guide. Sad because Viator suppliers are usually very good.
Not a great tour. We shared a mini bus with 3 other couples. Our guide was a nice young man but very quiet spoken and we couldn’t hear what he was saying most of the time. Every couple had a different itinerary to each other and eventually we managed to see what was intended but it was not great. We obviously were all sold different tours and put together for economy. Would not recommend Would not recommend.
We were met promptly at the pier as planned. There were 8 people on this tour in total. Our guide Denzil was excellent and very knowledgeable. There was plenty to see including a trip to a cashew factory, visit to a wonderful church and museum, visit to an interesting temple and a market specialising in dried fish!! We were due to end with a stop for lunch but, since nobody wanted this, we had a short visit to a mall instead. Overall it was a well planned, interesting day for an excellent price and I would definitely recommend it if you’re visiting for the day on a cruise ship and want a feel for the city.
The tour was a very good.Nelson is an great tour guide who speaks excellent English. The tour sites in Mangalore were a bit boring. That is the only beef we have. Nelson is the Best tour guide we had in India!
Lijo personally met us at the port and put us into the hands of a wonderful guide. She showed us the Temples, church and sites of Mangalore. Unfortunately, the Artisan Village was closed the day we visited, but Lijo contacted me days in advance to let us know. Our guide was so kind and patient, even helping us with our shopping in the markets. The next day, Lijo met us again in Kochi, and we had another fabulous tour. I highly recommend this company.
