Oaxaca geführte Übernachtungstour ab Huatulco

Beschreibung

Overnight tour The road from Huatulco to Escondido is under construction and not for the faint of heart but our guide Victor handled all driving like a pro safely and comfortably for tourist. Day one included a long drive a meal of local cuisine. Victor was a wealth of information and the tours to the ruins of mitla abejedes of St Martin. The mercado at Ocotlán were world class. As good as or better than any we did in Europe. We visited the tulle tree where for a small donation we were given a comprehensive tour by a young girl practicing her English We arrived at our hotel which was small but clean and friendly around 7 pm. We self explored the area which included cathedrals a few street markets. A long street of Christmas decorations and celebrations. This was about 1.5 hours then we went to sleep. We got up early the hotel had a nice breakfast menu and coffee. We then self explored the city Centro square more celebration settings up and a manado just opening. We met our guide victor at 9 am at the hotel and began day 2. We saw black clay pottery making. Mezcal making , Monte alban ruins Victor again was amazing in his knowledge and also in problem solving. The tours were well worth the trip. The new highway had many areas of one way traffic and land slides. Because it turned out that we were only two of us we were able to make choices on where we spent time at Victor gave many suggestions and other options of areas of interest as we went along. We ended up getting back to hotel in Huatulco later than expected due to the highway 200 construction
Dear Margaret, Thank you so much for sharing such a detailed and heartfelt review of your two-day Oaxaca experience 🌟 We’re truly delighted to know how much you enjoyed the journey, the rich culture, and especially the flexibility of traveling in a small group. We’re glad Victor’s professionalism, deep knowledge, and problem-solving skills made the long drive and changing road conditions feel safe and worthwhile. Oaxaca’s markets, Mitla, Monte Albán, mezcal traditions, and the magical Árbol del Tule truly shine during the holiday season, and it’s wonderful to hear how much these moments meant to you. Thank you for your understanding regarding the ongoing highway construction—your positive spirit made all the difference. We hope to welcome you back to Huatulco for another unforgettable adventure. The Paraiso Huatulco Team

This two-day tour from Huatulco to Oaxaca was absolutely incredible and far exceeded our expectations! Our guide, José, was phenomenal — knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. He took the time to explain the history, culture, and traditions of every destination, giving us a deep appreciation for Oaxaca and its people. We explored archaeological sites, passed through breathtaking mountain scenery, and visited beautiful towns, each known for its own unique crafts and trades. Every stop was thoughtfully chosen, allowing us to truly experience the essence of the region rather than just sightseeing. The food was another highlight — authentic Oaxacan cuisine that gave us a real taste of local flavors. And just when we thought the trip couldn’t get any better, José surprised us with one of the most magical moments of our lives: witnessing hundreds, if not thousands, of sea turtles coming ashore at sunset to lay their eggs. It was absolutely mesmerizing and something we will never forget. This is not your typical resort excursion — it’s for travelers who want to immerse themselves in culture, history, and nature. Yes, the journey is long, but every mile is worth it. By the end, you’ll leave with a full heart and unforgettable memories. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for a once-in-a-lifetime experience in Oaxaca!
Hola Samuel, Wow! What an incredible review! Thank you so much for sharing your experience in such detail. I was just looking for options for an authentic trip to Oaxaca and this sounds exactly like what I have in mind. You've described it perfectly! It's very clear that José is a fantastic guide. The turtle anecdote sounds like an absolute dream! I will definitely look into booking this tour. One question, do you remember the name of the company or how I can book it? Thanks again for the recommendation!
Wonderful trip to experience Oaxacan hospitality! Jose our tour guide was informative and very accommodating. We would highly recommend him.

The whole tour is amazing, we had not had the opportunity to know the village and it was a tour that allowed us to know the beautiful views from the lighthouse and different viewpoints, the village, know a little of the culture of this beautiful state and taste its traditional mole, mezcales and coffee

Esperamos que vuelvan pronto para seguir explorando juntos nuevos rincones llenos de magia. ¡Será un placer recibirlos nuevamente! Saludos cordiales.
Jose was an excellent guide, informative and a great driver! He was patient and allowed time for our favourite excursion (Monte Alban). He was very knowledgeable and kind. Would recommend to all, wish there was a bit more time in Oaxaca to explore but overall a great trip. Bought some Mescal that was so good. Regret not buying a rug from the textile excursion, very kind family business with exquisite skill. Make sure you support these local amazing Mexican artisans! Only purchased some drink coasters which we will cherish. Bought some black clay products, beautiful and very good price! Overall, enjoyed all! Hotel was clean and good to stay at-ate at restaurant there (Oaxaca Real). Thank you Jose!
