(Diamond Head Lookout, nicht Krater) Diamond Head ist ein Vulkankrater und wurde vor mehr als 300.000 Jahren gebildet. Es ist jetzt eine der beliebtesten Besucherattraktionen in Oahu. Wir halten am Aussichtspunkt an der Diamond Head Beach Road, damit Sie die Landschaft des Strandes genießen können.
Kommen Sie vorbei – Hanauma Bay Lookout ist berühmt für seine wunderschöne Naturlandschaft und liegt an der Südostküste der Insel Oahu. Es handelt sich um eine kegelförmige Vulkanbucht, in der ein Meeresökosystem voller Korallenriffe und Fische gedeiht.
Halona Blowhole ist eine Felsformation, die von Lavaströmen gebildet wurde, die vor Tausenden von Jahren natürliche Löcher in die Felsen gruben. Die Felsformation schießt das Meerwasser in die Luft, wenn die Flut stark und windig ist. Neben dem Blowhole befindet sich der Eternity Beach, wo From Here to Eternity gedreht wurde.
Sandy Beach, unter Einheimischen auch als Breakneck Beach bekannt, ist ein beliebter Bodysurf-Spot. Große Shorebreaks verursachen viele Verletzungen bei unerfahrenen Bodysurfern. Dies wird der erste Toilettenstopp sein.
Als eines der versteckten Juwelen in Oahu wurde der Byodo-In-Tempel 1968 fertiggestellt, um den 100. Jahrestag des ersten japanischen Einwanderers auf Hawaii zu feiern. Es wurde gebaut, um einen buddhistischen Tempel, Byōdō-in, in Japan nachzubilden. Der Tempel ist auch im amerikanischen Drama LOST zu sehen.

Very interesting tour, a bit too much time in the van. We visited every place as described in the description of the tour. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate and made things a little bit uncomfortable, as we weren’t prepared for the rain and cold temperatures. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our time and learn lots about the island.

Me and my family enjoyed every second of this tour. We loved the tour guy, he was so informative! The group was small so he made more stops then usual. The other group kept showing up so late whenever we stopped somewhere which was so disappointing. While we were waiting for the other group, our tour guy told us stories and facts about Hawaii which kept us intrigued.
Very little time is spent at each stop. Our tour included 2 non-English speaking groups who spoke continuously. Might be good to have individual headsets so we could hear the tour guide. When the guide is not speaking, appropriate music could be playing. For a six hour tour, van space is cramped for passengers over 5'7".

This tour was super enjoyable. Just about the right amount of time at each stop. I wouldn't have been able to see all these great locations without the tour. This is a great way to see a lot in a day. Our Tour Guide Kaps was super fun and engaging as well. Highly recommend.

A must do experience! We’ve traveled to Hawaii several times and this tour did not disappoint. It was our 25 year anniversary so we booked several events for the week! John, the tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. John, the driver, was very courteous and kept us safe throughout the trip. During the tour, we visited lots of locations and it gave us ideas of other locations where we’d like to revisit. It was a great way to tour island. I’m glad we booked this trip.
