Disappointed

Unfortunately we were not directed or given proper instructions and ended up buying tickets for the ferry again. We tried calling but no help was provided.

Choose Nina as your tour guide.

I have taken many guided tours in the past, but this one stands out because of our guide. Nina was exceptional. She has a great depth of knowledge of New York City and its history. She pointed out many of the more obscure facets of the city's buildings, public art, and historical landmarks. If you take the tour of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and the 911 Memorial, ask for Nina if you can. I have a much greater understanding of these places because of her insight. Two Thumbs up!!

Terrible and misleading advertising

The cost was overly expensive for the experience, The ad was misleading, I did not get ticket access to the actual Statue of Liberty as mentioned and several sections of Ellis Island was closed off. A terrible experience. I would not ever tour with Attraction4Us again.

Disappointed

Initial tour , ferry to SoL and Ellis Island and up to the 9/11 memorial was good. However, we did not receive (or clearly receive) the actual tickets to the museum. Our guide did not seem to be aware of we got this as part of of the booking. While the 9/11 museum went out of their way to assist, they ultimately couldn’t do anything to help. This is when I frat called the tour operator, who sent us back to Viator. This was not helped by my having connectivity issues as well as trying to find booking numbers whilst on the phone in a busy noisy ticket q environment. The ‘help’ at Viator simply resent the voucher we had already received which the museum would not accept. Eventually I did find the ticket buried in the Viator app .. but by that time we had to leave so though getting in to the museum. Had to exit almost immediately. This was very disappointing and, as I had booked a number of activities through Viator I’m now receiving updates email on a daily basis . These emails do not make it clear what event they are referring to to in the heading making it confusing particularly what having connectivity issues issues.. So in summary very disappointed !!

Good, but not enough time.

Our guide was great at knowing her way around and getting us where we needed to be. Everything went smoothly, but we felt very rushed for the first two stops. I especially wish we had more time to spend at Ellis Island. There was so much to read and see, but we had to skip a decent amount of it since we only had about 45 minutes between the time we stepped off the ferry until we had to be back in line for the ride back. 😕 We ended up by being guided to, and dropped off at the 911 Memorial and Museum, so we could spend as much time as we needed there.

Liberty, Freedom, and Love

Amazing way to see the history of liberty, freedom and love in New York City. Our tour guide Leanne, was an incredible storyteller, engaging, knowledgeable and exceptionally entertaining. She ensured we had a brilliant time at each element of the tour. She spoke about the history in a very proud and passionate way. For the avoidance of any doubt, she was the best tour guide we have ever come across, her energy and enthusiasm made the day what it was ..unforgettable. Because of her we all went away with firm memories that will last our lifetime. LIBERTY Lady Liberty, in all her wondrous glory did not disappoint. She is truly magnificent, and her story is so much more. She will take your breath away when you see her up close, the history of the people of New York and its special relation with France is fascinating. FREEDOM Ellis Island: the history of the people, giving up everything, risking everything, just to have an opportunity. We were speechless stepping into the large registration hall. You could easily spend hours there. LOVE 9/11 - memorial : “No Day Shall Erase You From the Memory of Time” . Our Tour Guide Leanne, spoke with conviction and respect. Giving us each a moment to reflect and remember those who died. 9/ 11 memorial museum; it speaks to the unforgettable destruction and terror, but more importantly the people. The love of the people of New York, the Victims, the Survivors the stories of helping each other. We will not forget. This is a most incredible tour we have ever been on and we would each do it again.
