Zuerst besuchen wir Shinjuku 3-Chrome, wo Sie authentische lokale Teppanyaki-Restaurants erleben können Sie machen Ihr eigenes „Okonomiyaki“ und „Monja-yaki“. Genießen Sie die köstlichen Speisen und Getränke, während Sie sich unter die freundlichen Einheimischen mischen. Dies ist eine großartige Möglichkeit, das echte Nachtleben der Altstadt von Tokio zu entdecken.
Als nächstes fahren wir nach Omoide Yokocho. In dieser engen Gasse gibt es über 60 kleine Bars und Restaurants, die köstliche Yakitori, Motsuyaki und andere lokale Spezialitäten servieren. Shinjuku Golden Gai ist ein einzigartiges Trinkviertel im Bezirk Shinjuku in Tokio. Es hat über 200 kleine Bars in engen Gassen verpackt, jede mit ihrer eigenen Persönlichkeit und Thema. (gilt nur, wenn es die Zeit erlaubt)
Nach der Spielhalle ging es an einen Ort, an dem Erwachsene Japanischen Sake probieren können – mit Auswahl aus verschiedenen Regionen Japans – während Kinder (und auch Erwachsene!) sich an der Japanischen Snackbar amüsieren können. Great tour. Our guide Maho was brilliant, excellent English and she was great with our kids. Also she was very accommodating with dietary requirements and fussy eating kids.

Our guide Shuhei was awesome! Very articulate punctual and full of information! The food was interesting, spots we would not have found. My only complaint having done other food tours in other cities is that there were only 3 stops. I would have preferred smaller bites and more locations.

This was definitely a great cultural experience with our 2 teen boys. We got to learn a bit more about what teens in Japan do, like photo booths and go to a dedicated “snack” restaurant. I do feel it was a bit expensive for only one meal being included and paying out of pocket for the rest.
