We had an absolutely wonderful night chasing the Northern Lights, with Owen as our fantastic guide and Ivan expertly handling the driving. Their genuine enthusiasm, warmth, and hospitality made the entire experience truly special. From breathtaking sunset views over the fjords and cascading waterfalls to a cozy bonfire and a delicious dinner under the open sky, every moment was magical. And then came the highlight — the Aurora dancing beautifully across the horizon, surrounded by a sky filled with countless stars. It was an unforgettable evening, filled with nature, warmth, laughter, and a little bit of magic. We honestly couldn’t have asked for more. 💚✨ Thank you, Owen and Ivan, for such an incredible experience. Highly recommended for anyone dreaming of an unforgettable Northern Lights adventure!

This small group tour was absolutely amazing! Massive shout-out to Liam, Jonas and Patryk. They were so thoughtful and took fantastic care of our whole group. This trip created such a special memory for us, something we will never forget. We loved every minute, fully recommend this tour!

My 6th time with Chasing Lights in Tromso. Liam and Jonas were experts in chasing the northern lights, and were very considerate in attending to our tour group's needs.

We had a wonderful night chasing the Northern Lights with Eigi and Jonas guiding, and Marcin doing the driving. This team and their colleagues in the other mini busses communicated the whole night in order to give everyone the opportunity to see the sky open up. It started off cloudy, ur they were determined to keep us entertained, well fed, and having fun, all while keeping their own eyes on the sky. The night did not disappoint and we saw a glimmer of green turn into a fully lit up sky as the team stopped the van and gave us amazing views and photos over the course of an hour. Thank you so much for your professionalism and determination. We arrived back in our hotel by 2:45am, but the long night was well worth it!

This was an awesome tour and I recommended few people staying in the same hotel and they booked it and had high praise for the tour. Guide Michiel and driver Marvin both were awesome. They knew the areas where there was nobody else, completely dark and clear from north side. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and an hour before he was able to tell the light was going to show up. Guide and driver both were committed towards showing the lights and they didn’t leave any stone unturned for the same.

The best experience we could have had. A very profesional guide, Michiel, and the best driver in town, Ivan. They did not stop until we finally watched the Aurora but it is fair to say that it is not just a trip to chase Aurora, it is a complete experience guided by Michiel who makes the trip a real adventure of knowledge and conection with nature landscaping. Definitively, the best team!

Can't thank Michiel and Ivan for showing us the most memorable encounter with the Northern Lights! True enthusiasm and hospitality from this Duo. Majestic sunset Fjord views, cascading waterfall, bonfire with a yummy dinner with Aurora dancing over the horizon and a night full of stars, what more could we have asked for. Simply Magical!

Super enthusiastic guide. Worked so hard to find the lights. Knowledgeable and the dehydration camp meal was a interesting meal. Great photography.

We got lucky. Weather was clear and cold. Traveled about 2 hours to a viewing spot on a lake. Bus was comfortable and not crowded—September seems to be a good time to go. Our guide Owen was delightful, energetic, knowledgeable, and eager to please. The lights put on a spectacular performance for us—Owen rated it as a 9. Be prepared for the cold—our temp was 0C, but expect much lower later, and a very late night. Not for the faint of heart, but absolutely worth it. Caveat: next 2 nights were cloudy, so best to book more than one night.

This is an amazing experience, highly recommend to everyone!! We are only in Norway for 1 week and spent two nights in Tromso. And it is mid- September, we thought the chance of seeing Northern light is slim, but just wanted to try our luck. The few days before our tour, it was raining everywhere in Norway. It was like a magic, the rain stopped on that day. Our tour guide Owen and driver Ivan took us to a spot with a clear sky for the entire night. The ride to the spot is very scenic. Owen is very knowledgeable - the science and myth about the northern lights are fun to learn. Owen’s light painting skill is absolutely brilliant!! We waited about 30-40 min, no sign of northern light. Owen started to set up the camp fire. Just as we were about to have a meal around the camp fire, some dim light started to show up in the sky, then it got stronger and stronger, until a full rainbow across the sky; later the full sky was filled with green and pink lights- it is incredible!! Owen was so nice taking photos for everyone and helping everyone to adjust the cellphone setting etc. Every moment in that night was well planned and well organized. We cannot recommend Chasing Lights more!!!
