What a fun and entertaining food and history tour! The cadence of the almost 3-hour walking tour was perfect. Our guide, Mya, was a delight with great knowledge (and pride) of North Wilkesboro. Would definitely return to North Wilkesboro for a day visit to dine and shop. Would HIGHLY recommend this tour to family and friends!

We decided to do this downtown North Wilkesboro food tour when we had out-of-town family visiting. What a great tour! Even being locals, we learned so much about the history of the area. We also loved all of the food served, which really focused on local ingredients and local restaurants. Food items included pizza, fried chicken with mashed potatoes, brisket, a great burger, and sweet treats. The alcohol options included wine, beer, and a fantastic "Lawless Lemonade" featuring locally made moonshine. I would recommend this tour for locals or visitors. We all had a great time, and it was very family-friendly.

My husband and I went on the Blue Ridge Food Tour this afternoon. Literally the best food tour we’ve been on and we’ve been on many. I think we went to 7 different places and had drinks and/or food at every stop. The store & restaurant owners were welcoming. These were all great locations that I’d love to visit again. Mya (leader/co-owner) provides so much historical information, is a wealth of knowledge, and is such a joy to be around. This was a walking tour that you don’t want to miss.

Mya was so informative! I had not realized that there was so much history surrounding North Wilkesboro. From bootlegging, bottling Coke etc., to the start of Lowe's, to the railroad impact. And the FOOD! I strongly suggest pacing yourself (we needed up bring food back to our car). We enjoyed a wide variety of selections and all very good. We will be back for more!

The town is very quaint and is warm to people, with a lot of interesting history. Recommended for those who like to know the history of a town and enjoy southern hospitality.
