Intimer geführter Normandie-Tagesausflug von Paris mit klimatisiertem Kleinbus. Sie werden die D-Day Strände des Zweiten Weltkriegs mit Ihrem privaten Fortgeschrittener entdecken. Im Zweiten Weltkrieg befand sich in Pointe du Hoc eine Reihe deutscher Bunker und Maschinengewehrposten. Vor dem Einmarsch in die Normandie befestigte die deutsche Armee das Gebiet mit Betonkasematten und Geschützgruben. Am D-Day griff die United States Army Provisional Ranger Group Pointe du Hoc an und eroberte sie, nachdem sie die Klippen erklommen hatte. US-Generäle, darunter Dwight D. Eisenhower, hatten festgestellt, dass sich an dem Ort Artillerie befand, die Angriffe auf nahegelegene Strände verlangsamen konnte.

Juno Beach war einer von fünf Stränden der alliierten Invasion des Deutsch besetzten Frankreichs bei den Landungen in der Normandie am 6. Juni 1944 während des Zweiten Weltkriegs. Der Strand erstreckte sich von Courseulles, einem Dorf östlich des britischen Strandes Gold, bis Saint-Aubin-sur-Mer und westlich des britischen Strandes Sword. HINWEIS : Je nach Fahrplan kann es möglich sein, am Juno Beach zu stoppen. Dieser Stopp ist nicht garantiert und hängt von der verfügbaren Zeit ab.

Zoltan was incredibly knowledgeable about the Battle of Normandy and a great story teller. He provides a personal touch to the tour that can’t be gained just from reading history Wikipedia articles, which comes from his genuine interest on WWII and from his own interviews with veterans. The bus ride was also smooth, air conditioned, and without any issue. Overall a very high quality tour.
Nicholas, our tour guide, was outstanding. I would definitely ask for him again. The cemetery was so poignant and a reminder of what the cost of war and freedom is
I'm on the fence on this tour. Our guide was pleasant, punctual, friendly and had a comfortable car. We were able to see Ponte du Hoc, Omaha Beach and the American Cemetery...a lot in one day. Unfortunately, the guide just didn't share a lot of information and also did not visit the Airborne Museum as advertised...it would have been a much better tour if the guide was more knowledgable. It was not as good as it should/could have been.
Normandy is incredible and Normandy on D day is something else. I would highly suggest a trip there, but not with this company. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable but extremely stress out and upset. From the very beginning of the tour he seemed unhappy to be there. He complained about us going on D day telling us how crowded and awful the traffic would be. He seems extremely irritated. He yelled at other drivers, using the F word in front of my children no less than a dozen times as he cussed about the traffic. He rushed us through the experience, bothered by the everything and everyone around us. This was sold as a VIP tour for which we paid almost $2,000 for a family of four. I would have expected at least some hospitality.
This is a must see and do in France. Dimitri, our guide, was amazing. He was very knowledgeable about not only the events of D Day, but World War I and II as well. It ended up being a tour with only my husband and myself, and Dimitri answered every question we had. The lunch was so special and in a very quaint Maison in Normandy. I would do this tour again!

It was wonderful! Our tour guide, Elise was amazing! She was very knowledgeable and made a day so very interesting for all 6 adults! The food at the Manor Inn was unique and delicious! We will never do large group tours again!! It was a wonderful day to learn and appreciate our veterans.

Wonderful trip. Demitri was a very knowledgeable and considerate guide. Our lunch was surprisingly good. Well cooked and fresh.
This was an amazing tour and very good day. Visiting the beach, the site of the guns, and the cemetery is all a very moving experience. It was great to do it with a private guide and not in a large group. Our guide was knowledgeable and courteous. The linch was fabulous

Guide is very knowledgeable and interesting. Age range of our group was 17 to 74 and we were all engaged with the details our guide provided. Lunch was wonderful, both the food and the setting. Transportation very comfortable. Highly recommend!
