A really fun and unique family experience. The kids loved it and so did the adults. Eight year old who studies karate was thrilled with the ninja training. Staff were fun and friendly. Museum tour was very informative. Great experience all around.
Great experience, excellent staff, very engaging!
Fuyo was a great tour guide so knowledgeable, our family enjoyed the tour and dressing up.
Sayo our guide was amazing in her knowledge about Japan, the samurai and the ninja! It was a truly enjoyable and unforgettable experience. Sayo, you are awesome!
Our guide, Mami, was very pleasant and gave en informative tour. We especially liked the Samurai sword experience and of course the Ninja experience was fun for all.
It was very fun! The class was fun but the only thing is I wish there was more time to try things in your own. You learn how to throw the stars and blow darts with the instructor but you get limited try’s for each tool.
Sho and sayo were amazing guides!! So knowledgeable and entertaining
I went to the museum with my family and, as soon as we arrived, I asked for permission to use the restroom because I had an urgent need. They said NO until the admission tickets had been paid for. My family went ahead and visited the museum, but I chose not to, even though my ticket was already paid, because I felt it was a response that lacked humanity and common sense. It is by no means acceptable behavior for an organization that depends on tourism.
Dear guest, Thank you very much for visiting SAMURAI NINJA MUSEUM and for taking the time to share your review. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and discomfort caused during your visit. As mentioned in our response on Google, our restroom is located inside an area that is only accessible to guests who have completed admission. For this reason, our staff generally guide guests to use the restroom after tickets have been confirmed. However, we understand that urgent situations require more flexible and considerate handling, and we are very sorry that our response caused you distress. We will share your feedback with our team and instruct our staff to assess each situation more carefully. Best regards, SAMURAI NINJA MUSEUM
A must-do experience when in Kyoto. Yuto was our guide and he did an excellent job. Lots of energy, humor and very knowledgable. The museum is not big but very well organised and exiting. Besides looking a all the cool samurai stuff we also throwed ninja stars which really fun. The tour gives lots of information about that age in Japan. Now suddenly movie titles like "the last samurai" makes sense. Highly recommended. BR from the "Aston Martin" guy.
Really good hour spent at the museum learning about Japanese samurai culture, with excellent guide named Tao. Nicely laid out, and the ninja star throwing was pretty cool. Highly recommended
