Wildtierattraktionen variieren mit der Jahreszeit. Puffins nisten von Mai bis Mitte September. Die Walsaison hat ihren Höhepunkt Mitte Juni bis Mitte August. Wale werden manchmal vor und nach der Hochsaison gesichtet. Eisberge erscheinen typischerweise von Mai bis Mitte Juni. Wale und/oder Eisberge sind auf keiner bestimmten Kreuzfahrt garantiert. - Sollte die Aktivität von Gatherall’s zu irgendeinem Zeitpunkt vor oder während der geplanten Aktivität abgesagt werden, können die Teilnehmer entweder ohne zusätzliche Kosten einen neuen Termin vereinbaren oder eine volle Rückerstattung erhalten.

What an amazing whale watching trip! Guides were friendly and knowledgeable. We saw Humpbacks and lots of different birds. I would highly recommend Gatheralls!
Despite the cold day, we enjoyed our whale and puffin experience. We saw many puffins and four humpback whales. Our guides were informative, entertaining.
It was a great experience going on the Gatherall's puffin and whale watching tour. The staff was very friendly, and helpful sharing details about puffins and whales as we went past the Gull Island and Witless Bay Ecological Reserve. We had a close look of the whales and the puffins nesting on the island. Thank you.
What a wonderful tour! The crew were so welcoming and kind, they truly made the trip such an amazing experience! Everyone is so knowledgeable about not only the animals and ocean, but the land and local history as well. The accompanying commentary while observing the area around us was so lovely. Everyone made such an effort to ensure each every one of us were able to get a full experience. I will forever recommend this tour to anyone that visits the area!
The trip out to see whales and puffins was fantastic. The staff were super friendly and made us all feel like friends. We learned a lot about whales and puffins. We got to see whales out in the bay and the crew made sure we all got a chance to see them from what ever side of the boat we were on.

What an amazing last day in Newfoundland! This boat tour will not disappoint! The crew the view the puffins and whales! Everything was perfect from beginning to end! Highly recommended I would do this again!
Unreal experience today! The crew carefully positioned us near 5 humpback whales. The narration of the story unfolding in front of us was fun and educational. Our boat, a catamaran, was faster to the whales than other boats. Gull Island was as impressive as ever. I cannot recommend this trip strongly enough!!!
I can't say enough about the tour company. It's a family business and they make you feel welcome,safe and they truly want you to have a great, fun experience. April, the tour guide on the top deck, was so knowledgeable and even sang us two songs. She was terrific. Captain Luc safely maneuvered the boat so everyone could see the whales and we were given fair warning when it was going to get a bit rougher. It was magical to see the bird colony and see the hundreds of tiny puffins flying around the boat. It was a fantastic experience.
It was amazing! The crew was enthusiastic, informative and very caring! An older friend slipped and fell and they quickly responded..I could see the concern on their faces and she was ok thanks to their quick reaction. They communicate with other ferries to spot whales and sure enough we spotted them! And the birds!!!!! They were very knowledgeable…. I showed him just a blurry photo of a bird I did not identify and he identified it quickly. It was amazing!!!!!
