Heimat von Louis Armstrong, Buddy Bolden, Sidney Bechet, Louis Prima und Sharkey Bonano, um nur einige zu nennen. . .Sie werden durch die letzten verbliebenen Orte geführt, an denen Jazz, Champagner und Romantik vorherrschten. Reiseverlauf
Die Tour beginnt im Louis Armstrong Park. Die Reisenden werden die ersten Pioniere der Jazz-Denkmäler und die ersten Tanzlokale besuchen, in denen der Jazz an erster Stelle steht. Sie werden die Geschichten von Jazz-Pionieren hören, wie zum Beispiel: Louis Armstrong, Jelly Roll Morton, Charles „Buddy“ Bolden und andere Jazz-Ikonen.
Die Reisen werden das New Orleans Jazz Museum oder das erste Jazzmuseum im St. Pierre Hotel besuchen, in dem der GROSSE Louis Armstrong übernachtete, als er in New Orleans auftrat.
Die Reisenden werden das heilige Gelände des Congo Square erkunden, wo angeblich die Ursprünge des Jazz entdeckt wurden, und außerdem das älteste afroamerikanische Viertel des Landes, Treme, besichtigen.
Die Reisenden werden außerdem Live-Jazzmusik in einer der beliebtesten und musikalischsten Straßen von New Orleans, der „Frenchmen Street“, erleben.

My wife and I were the only ones on tour. Learned a lot about New Orleans jazz and its beginnings. Viewed present Jazz Museum and site of new one being built. I wanted to visit some actual clubs and hear jazz if only for 10 to 15 minutes at each club.

Harris was an amazing tour guide! Very personable and inspiring. He knew all the hot spots to go to see live music. His after the tour text had all the stuff we talked about and a lot of useful information. The only thing I wish we did, not negative, was to do the tour when we first go here, not the night before we left. 😊 (we will just have to go to the places he mentioned in the tour on our next visit)
