NEU (LLT Originalprodukt) Von Ihrem Hotel in Beirut aus haben Sie mit einem Lächeln, das Sie morgens um 08:15 Uhr für eine Fahrt zu Ihrem ersten Muss abholen, fast 1,15 Stunden Zeit, um die berühmten JEITA GROTTOS zu erkunden Dies ist ein System aus zwei getrennten, aber miteinander verbundenen Karstkalkhöhlen mit einer Gesamtlänge von fast 10 Kilometern.
Dann fahren Sie mit Ihrem nächsten wichtigen Besuch fort, der bedeutenden Statue der Jungfrau Maria in HARISSA mit dem Auto über den Berg. Sie erkunden den Panoramablick auf die Bucht von JOUNIEH und viele wunderschöne Landschaften.
Anschließend genießen Sie die Fahrt mit der Hauptseilbahn von Harissa nach Jounieh, wo der erfahrene Fahrer auf Sie wartet, um zu Ihrem nächsten wichtigen Besuch in Byblos weiterzufahren. Wenn die Seilbahn geschlossen ist, fahren Sie mit dem Fahrzeug weiter.
Beginnen Sie Ihre 1,5-stündige Tour durch die bedeutende Stelle des UNESCO-Weltkulturerbes der schönen phönizischen Stadt BYBLOS, die eine der ältesten durchgehend bewohnten Städte der Welt ist. Genießen Sie die Spaziergänge auf der Jachthafenseite zum Schloss und der souk.
Dann haben Sie die Möglichkeit, die Kreuzritterburg in Byblos zu betreten, die als Burg von Gibelet bekannt war. Sie befindet sich neben der phönizischen archäologischen Stätte mit den Ruinen des Tempels von Baalat Gebal und des Tempels der Obelisken Erbaut von den Kreuzfahrern im 12. Jahrhundert aus einheimischem Kalkstein und den Überresten römischer Bauwerke. Die fertige Struktur war von einem Wassergraben umgeben. Es gehörte der genuesischen Familie Embriaco, deren Mitglieder die Herren von Gibelet waren. Saladin eroberte 1188 die Stadt und die Burg und baute 1190 die Mauern teilweise ab. Später eroberten die Kreuzfahrer Byblos zurück und bauten 1197 die Befestigungen der Burg wieder auf. 1369 musste die Burg einen Angriff zypriotischer Schiffe aus Famagusta abwehren. Das Schloss Byblos hat historische Gebäude für Nachbarn ausgezeichnet. In der Nähe stehen einige ägyptische Tempel, die phönizische königliche Nekropole und das römische Amphitheater.
Nach dem Schloss betreten Sie den alten Souk von Byblos, einen alten Markt, auf dem Sie in vielen örtlichen Geschäften Antiquitäten, Souvenirs, lokales Kunsthandwerk und verschiedene andere Waren kaufen können. Er ist einer der besten Orte im Libanon und der Souk ist nie menschenleer. Es gibt auch gemütliche Bars und Cafés entlang des Spaziergangs. Es ist auch relativ klein und einen Spaziergang wert, um die verschiedenen Gassen und antiken Stätten zu entdecken, da man von diesem Ort nie genug bekommt. Dieser Teil der Stadt besteht aus einer Ansammlung alter Mauern (einige mittelalterliche), die sich überlappen, und einer faszinierenden Hälfte -Ruinen.
Anschließend begeben Sie sich in ein traditionelles Restaurant, um Ihr mediterranes libanesisches Essen zu genießen.
Nach dem Mittagessen fährt Ihr erfahrener Fahrer nach Beirut, wo er Sie an Ihrem Standort abholt.

I had big expectations for the tour and Harake, the driver, achieved to meet all of them and even more. The tour is great, we had a great experience and the guide Harake made everything possible for us to enjoy ythe day. Very detailed explanation in the grotto which also helped us notice things which we would have otherwise missed. 100% recommended.

What an amazing, well spent day :) It started by having traditional lebanese breakfast from a bakery, eating it on the way to Jeita Grotto with a beautiful view to the mountains, experiencing nature’s charms in the Grottos, observing the breathtaking view of Harissa, having fun around Byblos and finishing with some tips from the guide. Great tour, Harake was a lovely driver and guide. We could focus completely on enjoying the sights and the experience while he took warmly care of us. Harake could answer any kind of questions we would have - from historical to practical things. We did the all inclusive tour, pre-paid for the sights and the food, and I believe that was a good option in order to avoid waiting times and discussions about currencies. Can only recommend both Lebanon Local Tour as a company and Harake as your driver/guide. We also had very lovely company in the other couple joining the tour, a fun way to meet new people - and because of them we also got to visit Batroun, and try the local lemonade!
