• Den Verbündeten des Marktes folgend, stößt man auf einen Marmeladenladen mit einer riesigen Auswahl an hausgemachten – handgemachten Marmeladen und Marmelade, genug, um fast jeden Geschmack zu erwerben.
• Unser Spaziergang nach Mittag endet mit einem Besuch des traditionellen Geschäfts von PROMPONAS. Wir werden den lokalen Likör "Naxos Citron" probieren. Mit Leidenschaft, Liebe und Hingabe an die Tradition kreieren sie das lokale Getränk von Naxos "Citron Promponas", das aus Zitronenbaumblättern purer Essenz besteht.

Our guide Alex gave us a very individualized tour of old town and the port area of Naxos. Our first stop had one of the most breathtaking views and we enjoyed amazing local cheeses and meats. He got to know us and we enjoyed connecting with him and learning all about Greek culture and life. He made sure to help us find the gift we had been looking for to bring back home to our son. Then we ended up seeing Apollos gate as well as other sites and learning so much fascinating history. Topped off with a really fun and delicious traditional lunch that was personalized to us and recommended by him. HIGHLY recommend this tour when you visit Naxos! Alex also gave us recommendations for restaurants for the rest of our vacation. We had a blast and it made our visit complete.
The food was amazing and our guide was great. Had a wonderful cheese platter at one stop and a full meal at another. Got to walk around and see temple of Apollo by night and heard history along the way. Great night out!

This tour went even better than I expected. Our guide, Alex, was incredibly knowledgeable about the town, its culture, and its food. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, you’ll be walking through charming streets and making several stops. Our first stop was at an authentic cheese shop, where we sampled a variety of cheeses and wine while Alex shared the fascinating history of cheese making in Naxos. Next, we visited the famous church in town, a beautiful and peaceful landmark. After that, we enjoyed an authentic dinner featuring cheese, fresh bread, stuffed peppers with rice and meat, and delicious local wine. We also explored a charming jam shop, and finally ended the evening at a liquor store offering an array of candies, oils, and traditional Naxos liquor. This final stop was my favorite part of the tour. Thank you, Alex, for making this an unforgettable experience!
We had such a fun time on this delicious food tour. Especially if you are staying outside of Naxos, this is a great option because they will pick you up and drop you off at your hotel or Airbnb in a very comfortable sprinter van. Our guide, Alex, made the whole tour! He was so friendly, funny, and knowledgeable. He made sure to make everyone feel included, including my elderly mother and child. He was also flexible and thoughtful, making tweaks to the tour to find the best routes for my mom to walk since she uses a cane and stopping at different shops to make sure we were able to bring home our favorite food souvenirs.

This was so much fun. Our guide, Alex, is a charming young man, who was very knowledgeable about the town. It was just the 4 of us so it was a very personal experience. And all the food we tasted was wonderful. Though the cheeses were the highlight of all we tasted! We thoroughly enjoyed it.
