Nauyaca Wasserfall Abenteuer - All-Inclusive Ganztagestour

My husband and I had an absolutely amazing time on the Nauyaca Waterfall Tour! From the very beginning, everything was organized and seamless. We were picked up right on time and given clear instructions ahead of the tour about what to bring and how to prepare, which made the entire experience stress free. We didn’t book a private tour, but it ended up being just the two of us and honestly, I wasn’t disappointed at all! It felt like we had our own personalized experience. Our guide was great, and we felt safe and comfortable throughout the entire adventure. From exploring the beautiful waterfalls to making our way to the beach, every part of the day was incredible. The scenery was breathtaking, the experience was fun, and the entire excursion was handled professionally. If you’re visiting Costa Rica and considering the Nauyaca Waterfall Tour, DO IT! We would absolutely recommend it. 🌴💦 10/10 experience from start to finish! Pura Vida! 🇨🇷

The waterfall is impressive, but it should specify that the swimming area there is in a second pool and not the pool that the waterfall falls into. So there is no option to jump as he indicated we could do, nor an option to go behind it, nor to see the falls up close. He indicated to us that there was a strong current in the area and that it was dangerous; however, there were children and elderly people swimming and they could touch the bottom. The pool where we swam had a very strong current, was full of large rocks, and the area was very small; it was just us. Although there was another waterfall and a beautiful beach (a real gem), the main attraction is the Nauyaca waterfall, and he did not allow us to go to the area where everyone else was; it seems that each company has a swimming area and this one could not use the waterfall area, so the view is not the same since it was about 30 meters further down in the pool, making access to the main one impossible. There were 4 people on our tour, 2 Americans and 2 Spaniards, and the guide spent more time giving information in English than in Spanish. The information was more complete and diverse (since I understand English but my husband does not), the percentage was 75% in English. At the beginning of the tour, he asked if we spoke English and I indicated that we did not. The driver was very attentive and a great professional.

We had a truly fabulous experience on the tour. The scenery was breathtaking. Loved the rainforest and waterfalls. Learned so much from Mambo, our guide. Can’t say enough nice things about Mambo and our driver, Julien. When it comes to Pura Vida, they are the real deal. Constantly remained vigilant and drew on their extensive experience to ensure our individual safety, when warranted. Authentic lunch was delicious. Had a memorable experience jumping directly into the white water rapid created by the waterfall from the cliff. Great learning experience about so many aspects of Costa Rican foliage, lifestyle, culture, wildlife and industry. By the middle of the tour, we had already bonded with Mambo and Julien. Great way to see this area of Costa Rica.

Highly recommend this beautiful action packed adventure. Amazing sights, beautiful rainforest and waterfalls. The tour was truly made extraordinary by Mambo, our tour guide and Julien, out driver. They were extremely knowledgeable and informative. They exercised great judgment and experience to ensure our individual safety. By the middle of the day we had already formed a bond with them. Mambo was an amazing tour guide. Very patient, and fun! Julien was a great driver! Food was excellent for lunch. It was definitely a full day and we left exhausted and tired! Saw beautiful beaches and waterfalls!

This was an amazing and very educational tour thanks to our tour guide Mambo. Not to mention the views of the waterfalls and beaches were stunning! Mambo was as eager to teach us about Costa Rican culture as he was to show us amazing views! One thing that stood out about Mambo was he turned a question I had into an act of kindness that wasn’t included as part of the tour. I asked him how do you tell if a coconut that has fallen from the tree is good to eat or not. Not only did he educate me and answer my question, he found the right one and prepared it so that we could enjoy the coconut water. If you are reading this I would highly recommend that you request Mambo as your guide. Also I must say, our safety was his top priority. He literally walked us through everything from the jumps at the waterfalls to how and why it was important to receive help from him with a forearm grab instead of hand to hand help. It’s the little things and Mambo was great!

This trip was amazing, by far my favourite excursion I did in Costa Rica. An absolute must do and worth the money. Firstly, we visited a smaller waterfall to paddle in, if you’re able, definitely consider jumping in. It was so much fun and I’m glad I did it. Make sure you’re ready with swimming costumes etc. Then, we went to the beach which was gorgeous. Finally, we went to Nauyaca Waterfalls which was amazing, the swimming was lovely and more jumping in from the falls. It was so much fun but only do what you’re comfortable with. The rocks are very slippy so be careful. The day was brilliantly orchestrated by our guide, Mambo. He was so informative and knowledgeable about the area and the different places we visited. He was very kind and patient with the group and brilliant at ensuring our safety - we trusted him implicitly. Mambo really was an outstanding guide and made the experience so much fun. Our driver Julian was wonderful too. The lunch we had was delicious.

You cannot miss it because you will learn and have fun in addition to enjoying wonderful views

Ian (guide) and Julian (driver) were fantastic! I can't say enough about this tour. The waterfalls were beautiful and the whole day flew by. Ian was incredibly knowledgeable while keeping everything relaxed and engaging for the kids. I was so impressed with how he ensured our kids were safe around the waterfalls and made sure they were smiling throughout the day. I highly recommend this tour and Ian!!

Ian was truly the highlight of our trip to Costa Rica! Our tour to Nauyaca Waterfalls was absolutely incredible, and so much of that was thanks to him. From the moment we met him, Ian was warm, personable, kind, and genuinely passionate about sharing the beauty of Costa Rica. He was incredibly informative, teaching us so much about the local wildlife, culture, and the surrounding area, while always making sure everyone was comfortable and having a great time. He went above and beyond to make the experience memorable, and his enthusiasm was contagious. A day spent with Ian as your tour guide is a wonderful day. He has an amazing way of making you feel like you're exploring with a friend rather than just taking a tour. Thanks to him, our visit to Nauyaca Waterfalls became one of our favorite memories of the entire trip. We can't recommend Ian highly enough. If you're visiting Costa Rica and have the chance to tour with him, don't hesitate, you'll have an unforgettable experience!
