Die „Turtle Release Tour“ ist ein Naturschutzprogramm, das seit mehr als fünf Jahren von Rancho Carisuva durchgeführt wird und bei dem Sie eine Baby-Schildkröte adoptieren und dabei helfen können, sie ins Meer zu entlassen. Sie tragen nicht nur zum Artenschutz bei, sondern lernen unter der Leitung eines zertifizierten Meeresbiologen auch viel über die Schildkröten und ihren Lebensraum. Beobachten Sie, wie die Schildkröten nach ihrer Befreiung aus ihren Nestern ein neues Leben im Meer beginnen, und seien Sie stolz darauf, dass Sie ihnen dabei geholfen haben. Von Juli bis September kommen in Cabo Oliv- und Schwarzschildkröten an Land, um ihre Eier tief im Sand abzulegen, bevor sie wieder ins Meer zurückkehren. Die Babyschildkröten schlüpfen etwa 45 Tage später, aber in der Zwischenzeit schützen wir das Nest und kümmern uns um die Eier. Unsere Aufgabe ist es, die Überlebensrate so weit wie möglich zu steigern. Die Tour wird von einem Meeresbiologen geleitet und bietet ein unterhaltsames und lehrreiches Erlebnis, bei dem Sie dabei helfen, diese Baby-Schildkröten wieder in die Natur zu entlassen.

Do not use this company - they are a SCAM! We booked a tour a month before our arrival, paid $100usd for a taxi to get to the location as they are extremely far from town, only to find out that the company did not offer the tour; it was listed on their website and purchased directly through the company, but wasn't offered. We are now out hundreds of dollars. Numerous attempts were made with the owner to get a refund, but no follow-up was ever made. We were also never told that this tour was not offered, even though it had been booked for weeks. This is not a local company - it is a French company that is DISHONEST. Do not book tours through this company, they tell you what you want to hear but do not offer what shows on their website or follow through on what they say.
We booked a tour as a family of 3 and had to pay for an expensive cab ride to the location, only to discover this ranch does not offer these tours and it was a scam. Do not book through this company!!!
They cancelled the trip but never refunded us! I messaged them and texted them several times to no avail. This operator should be kicked out!
