Dies ist die Beschreibung der 7-stündigen Wüstentour: Wir reisen durch eine der ältesten Wüsten der Welt und befinden uns inmitten der schroffen und felsigen Landschaft der Namib-Wüste. Erleben Sie die "Ringing Stones" und die faszinierenden Pflanzen der Namib, zum Beispiel die bemerkenswerte Welwitschia-Pflanze, ein lebendes Fossil, das nur in diesem geografischen Gebiet zu finden ist. Mit etwas Glück kann man Springbock, Klipspringer sehen. Steenbok, Pavian, Strauße, Ruppels Korhaan und Trac-Trac Chat. Nach einer Mittagspause fahren wir am trockenen Flussbett des Swakop Valley entlang und passieren die Oase "Goanikontes". Wir beenden diese Tour mit einem Besuch der Shifting Sanddünen in der Nähe von Swakopmund. Bitte beachten Sie: Die 4-stündige Wüstentour umfasst eine kürzere Strecke und beinhaltet keine Mittagspause.

Reisen Sie entlang der kleinen Betriebe am nördlichen Ufer des Swakop River in die älteste Wüste der Welt, die Namib-Wüste. Ihr Führer erklärt Ihnen den Ursprung der Namib-Wüste und die geologischen und klimatischen Bedingungen dieser Küstenwüste. Wenn wir weiter gehen, hinterlassen wir jede Spur der Zivilisation und sind von der rauen und felsigen Szene der Namib-Wüste umgeben. Erleben Sie die "Ringing Stones" und die faszinierenden Pflanzen der Namib, zum Beispiel die einheimischen Lithops, auch als "Living Stones" bekannt, sowie eine Vielzahl seltener Flechten und vor allem die bemerkenswerte Welwitschia-Pflanze, die lebt Fossil, das nur in diesem geografischen Gebiet gefunden wird. Mit etwas Glück kann man Springbock, Klipspringer, Steenbok, Pavian, Strauße, Ruppels Korhaan und den Trac-Trac-Chat sehen.
Nach einer angenehmen Mittagspause fahren wir am trockenen Flussbett des Swakop-Tals entlang, das von Tamarisken-, Prosopis- und Ana-Bäumen gesäumt ist. Wir passieren die Oase "Goanikontes", betreten den Namib Naukluft Park und betrachten das "Moon Valley" von einem Aussichtspunkt aus. Wir schließen diese Tour mit einem Besuch der wechselnden Sanddünen bei Swakopmund ab.

Highly recommend, especially if you'd like to see the moon landscape/moon valley, as well as learn more about rare and interesting plants in Namibia! Hans was a very cheery and knowledgeable guide, and the tour passed by very quickly.

This morning tour of the Moon Valley, Goanikontis, and canyons along the Swakopmund River was so interesting that the time just flew. The bonus at the end was the welwitschas which have always been on my bucket list. Hans Dieter, our guide, has a wealth of information to share and is also a local Swakopmunder having lived there for all of his 91 years. A truly wonderful enlightening morning. Thank you

We booked a half-day trip to the moonscape and Welwitschia with Hans, originally wanted to drive ourselves and have wg. No permission on Sundays closed office. That was our great luck because otherwise we would have missed Hans. At 91 years old (!), he is an almost inexhaustible source of knowledge about Namibia's history during the last decades, but has not only read it, but experienced it himself. Against this background, the tour was a real experience for us, first with the so-called lunar landscape, then the Guanikontis Oasis and last but not least the drive through the Swakop River (which we would not have been able to do as a self-drive without 4x4). For the finale the Welwitschia, no beauty, fortunately not Instagramm-able, but for Namibia visitors just a must-see. We can warmly recommend Hans-Dieter Göthje to anyone interested in deeper knowledge about botany and Namibia, who, incidentally, with his age could also be a role model for all those who want to spend the evening of their lives not only in the chair.

We had a good experience with Hans. He is a legend and know much about Namibia, the Swakopriver desert, plants, animals and Namibian economy.

Used this tour company to go to namib desert and we drove through the dried swakop river as well as through the desert to see moonscape view point and then found the welwitschia plants, very informative and worth the visit. Recommend if you decide to go to Swakopmund.

The tour was really great! German-speaking Hans-Dieter is the perfect guide for this tour since he is from Swakopmund and has been living in Namibia for all of his life. He told us a lot about Namibia, the culture, politics, landscape, animals, so we got a deep understanding. He drove us to the amazing moon landscape as well as to the Welwitschia plants. We can totally recommend the tour!

We had an amazing tour and created unforgettable memories. Our experienced guide, Hans, was a fantastic host. We enjoyed a private tour with him and experienced the Namibian desert to the fullest. The highlight was the lovingly prepared picnic lunch under a large rock.
