This was such an authentic experience. John was our tour guy who walked with us for about 3 hours and took us through the history of Kenya, political movements, culture of Kenyans, and the current climate and culture of Kenya. He did such a wonderful job at presenting the past, present and hopeful future of Kenya. I learned so much and the walk while a bit hectic allowed us to submerge ourselves in local culture and see historical sites, local market with handmade jewelry. John was so knowledgeable and passionate about Nairobi. It was such a great afternoon stroll and by the end of it it felt like I had spent the last 3 hours with friends. Such a lovely experience. If you are one that like culture, history, and sightseeing this is a very local rare experience

Interesting tour with John and Davis
We had a fantastic walking tour with John this morning. It was great to see and experience Nairobi from the streets. John was very informative. He gave us lots of interesting information about the history, culture and people of Nairobi. He answered all our questions and was interested to hear about our home town too. We felt very safe the whole tour and learnt how to navigate the busy roads safely. Highly recommend doing this tour!
Gives a pretty comprehensive overview of Nairobi's central business district in just 2hrs. All the main sites covered with a knowledgable, friendly tour guide. Do it to kick off your Nairobi adventure!

This tour is a MUST for visitors to Nairobi (Kenya), especially for the first timer like myself. We went every where. Our guide Sam was extremely knowledgeable about history and modern society of Kenya. He also gave us a helpful practical advise for shopping at the gity market. (Should bargain starting with 25% off of the asking price!) Highly recommended !!
