Diese Burg wurde 1537 erbaut und überlebte während des Krieges, um eine der fünf Burgen des Landes zu werden, die als Nationalschatz ausgewiesen wurden. Der Burgfried ist im Borogata- oder Aussichtsturmstil erbaut und verfügt über eine vierstöckige Dreidachkonstruktion mit zwei unterirdischen Ebenen. Es ist das älteste Schloss dieses Stils in Japan. Der Sanko Inari-Schrein ist ein historischer Schrein am Fuße des Burghügels. Hier gibt es viele beliebte Fotopunkte. Es wird empfohlen, einige Bilder im Tunnel der roten Torii-Tore, dem Symbol des Schreins, zu machen.
Genießen Sie einen freien Spaziergang durch die Stadt. Der Grundriss dieser historischen Stadt wurde während des Baus der Inuyama-Burg festgelegt und diese Stadtteile bleiben bis heute unverändert. Mit dem Samurai-Viertel, das das Stadtviertel umgibt, wurde diese Anordnung entworfen, um auch die Burg zu schützen. Es gibt eine Reihe von Geschäften, in denen Dango-Knödel, Tofu-Dengaku (gegrillter Tofu mit süßer Miso-Paste) und Goheimochi (Reiskuchen) verkauft werden, sowie Kunstgalerien und verschiedene Warengeschäfte. Am Wochenende wird ein Bereich eröffnet, in dem Besucher Ninja Shuriken (Wurfsterne) werfen können. Wer möchte, kann den Karakuri-Ausstellungsraum oder das Donden-Kan besuchen, wo das Inuyama-Festival das ganze Jahr über erlebt werden kann.

Our tour guide Yuriko was knowledgeable, polite (who isn’t in Japan) and amiable. In a half day we climbed to the top of Inuyama castle, witnessed the festival floats and enjoyed learning about the culture of the samurai city of Inuyama. The castle is historic, the nearby shrine charming and so picturesque. The city streets were lined with vendors and we had time to enjoy mochi and takoyaki. The tour was enjoyable, comfortable and so enlightening. Rated a five star experience for our first trip to Nagoya. Thank you For sharing your city, Yuriko
What a fantastic day we had to the Inuyama Castle, with the added amazing viewing of the history of puppetry at the museum. Our guide Yama-san was excellent!! I wasn't thrilled. castle redone completely empty you have to take your shoes off but the employees wear them no reduction for foreign elderly or handicapped
Do you want to see inside an historic castle keep with massive supporting timbers and climb up the four stories to see a spectacular view of the Kiso River and Inuyama town? Then the Half-day Inuyama Castle and Town tour with Akiko-san is exactly the tour for you. Akiko-san was extremely well prepared from start to finish. She helped us understand the history of Inuyama Castle and some of the different ways the samurai would fight off invaders. We had a leisurely stroll of Inuyama Jokamachi, ate some lunch and decided we needed to find a Japanese sweet shop for dessert. Akiko-san took us a couple of blocks off the beaten path to find us a small quaint sweet shop. Our Half-Day Inuyama Castle and Town Tour with Akiko-san was so much fun and entertaining. Akiko-san ‘s English was excellent and her knowledge of the area was so interesting. We would highly recommend taking this tour with Akiko-san ! She was a wonderful guide.
Satomi-san is an excellent tour guide - extremely friendly and accommodating, explaining everything in easy-to-understand details and helped my dad and I take pictures, and recommended us an amazing restaurant to eat at. She’s very knowledgeable in the history and cultures of Japan and has an excellent grasp of the English language, so don’t worry about language barriers unless your main language isn’t English.
Yuki Ichikawa was an excellent tour guide! Her expertise in the culture and history of Inuyama was perfect for our needs. We explored Inuyama Castle, the Karakuri puppet museum, and the festival float museum. she took us to an adorable little dango shop as well as a local restaurant where we ate some fantastic Kishimen noodle soup. My wife and I highly recommend Tourism Designers, and especially Mrs. Ichikawa.
