Nagoya: All-Inclusive-Autotour ins Korankei-Tal

Beschreibung

I highly recommend Serge as a guide without any reservations. He will fit your tour to your personal choices and is a great resource to suggest additional or other places that you may actually prefer. He's very good at alternating more and less demanding visits if he believes it maybe appropriate as they were for me, challenging and very interesting. He's very personable, cordial and fun. Sincerely, Carolyn
Thank you, kindly Carolyn, you were a wonderful customer and an even more wonderful human being. Love and kisses, Serge
I had a really enjoyable day on the trip to Korankei valley with Tomoko, who was great company. Communication was fantastic and Serge and Tomoko were really helpful in adapting the tour to include things of interest. Thanks Tomoko and Serge 🍁💛
Dear Jacqui, thank you so much for your kind review. Tomoko had a great day with you, exploring Korankei and the pottery town of Seto. She not only enjoyed your company, but also learned something new about pottery along the way. As I'm writing this, we're on our way to Seto to replace our 100 store cups for "real" ones....I'm still smiling now, but you might find me curled up on the floor of the shower later on....
Our private day tour from Nagoya to the Korankei Valley was truly unforgettable. We spent the day with Serge, our guide and driver - a Dutch emigré who has lived in Japan for over 30 years - and his depth of knowledge, warmth and flexibility made the experience exceptional. He tailored the day perfectly to our interests. For example, after hearing that we weren’t particularly drawn to cars, he swapped the Toyota Museum for a visit to the serene, tucked-away Tōgan-ji Temple, home to an impressive 10 m statue of the Buddha. From there we continued to the breathtaking Korankei Gorge, which we were incredibly lucky to see at peak autumn colour. Even with the crowds, it felt peaceful and almost magical. After exploring the area, we travelled to Senno Shikizakura no Sato Park, where the shikizakura cherry blossoms - remarkably blooming in both autumn and spring - were just approaching full bloom. Combined with the small temples in both locations, it made for a truly beautiful and atmospheric day. Neither of us knew much about this region beforehand, so discovering it with Serge was a wonderful surprise and an unexpected highlight of our Japan trip. As an added kindness, he even followed up by sending us a detailed suggested itinerary for exploring Nagoya the next day, complete with timings and public transport tips. We would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Nagoya looking for a thoughtful, personalised and scenic day out!
Dear Callum and Aymon, lovely words, but kindness from the heart is created by the company you're with. In your case, you were both amazing people, whose good heart not only appeared in our conversations, but also through the work you both do back in Australia. Thank you for the honor of having you both onboard and please take good care of yourselves. I hope that our paths will cross again. Serge

What a wonderful day with Serge - such a dynamic personalty with infectious enthusiasm and a keen sense of humor. We thoroughly enjoyed our day in Nagoya. Thanks for the laughs, the insights, the photos, and the follow-up. Thanks also for adjusting the tour when some people dropped and others were added. Highly recommend.
Ha ha, from the moment I met you all, I knew there was going to be trouble...of the good kind, I have to add. You kept me smiling the whole tour through, and although your friends had to drop out, your group dynamic was great. Groups like yours will get me into trouble ha ha, but it's so worth it. I hope to see you all again here, or I might drop by Utah and show you that trouble knows no boundaries. Love, Serge
I did a private tour to the Korankei Gorge to view the autumn leaves with Serge. But, you may ask, why would you even need a guide in Japan? Well, apart from the factual aspects about a trip to Korankei being quite exasperating to organise via public transport or even rented car (already a good enough reason by itself), these rewarding experiences awaited me as soon as I sat down in Serge's very clean and new car: Discovery Delight Serendipity The moment of alignment, knowing the day would turn out fine. Satisfaction beyond expectations He is: Professional Enthusiastic Funny Honest I could go on and on. But far more than what your guide can do for you, even more important is what he can do for you when things don't go according to plan. An 8 hour road trip is just not going to be a flawless sequence of events than run like clockwork. There's traffic, crowds, bad weather etc. That's where the value-add of Serge stands out. He speaks fluent Japanese and English. He is in every sense of the word a fixer. And yes, if you are a keen photographer, he knows where to bring you, and more importantly, where to stand for that epic shot. When you step into his car, he is your guide. When he drops you off at your hotel, he is your friend. And you are already planning your next trip with him. His tailor-made solutions come with very reasonable charges. You can't ask for anything more.
Serge was the perfect guide for this trip! Full of jokes, fun stories, and information along the way. Gut busting laughter throughout! We cannot believe how lucky we were and would recommend Serge for this tour, or any other he’s leading. He was flexible with tailoring the tour to what we wanted to visit, picked us up right from our hotel, and came ready with drinks and snacks. After the tour, he followed up with many, many excellent photos for us to remember the trip, although I’m sure we’d remember it fondly anyway. Thank you, Serge, for the wonderful time! Kevin, Kathy, and Deb
Dear Kevin, Kathy and Deb, I want to say thank you in return, not just for choosing me, but also for the fun, warmth and kindness you gave me. I had a wonderful day, full of laughter and fun conversations. You make the perfect travel companions. Again, thank you so much and I wish you all the best in life, love and health. Your friend, Serge
We had an amazing day with Serge as our tour guide! He’s such a lovely guy — friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about Nagoya and the surrounding areas. Serge took us to places we would never have discovered on our own, giving us a real insight into local life and culture. His enthusiasm made the whole experience so much fun, and we came away with wonderful memories that will last a lifetime. If you’re visiting Nagoya, we can’t recommend Serge highly enough for an adventure of a lifetime!
Nothing but appreciation and love for you all.

Such a beautiful family you have Naomi! It was awesome meeting you all, I especially was impressed by how much your husband resembles me...same beautiful hair cut, same humor, and we both possess the superpower to be both loved and create raised eyebrows and rolling eyes by our wives and kids. I'm happy we connected on social media, because when I go to Australia I'm going to pass by to try his honey. See you soon xxx
Serge was an amazing tour guide, very fun to chat with and took me all over the place for the day. He picked me up right in front of my hotel and drove me to Korankei Gorge and Asuke Castle. But after casually chatting a bit he drove me all around Nagoya to various points of interest that I ended up enjoying even more than the main itinerary. We also ran into his lovely wife giving a different tour which was a fun time too. Serge apparently travels around to give tours in other cities too, but if you want a guide for all the great spots in Nagoya and around Aichi Prefecture in general, definitely reach out to Serge!
Thank you so much Jeffrey, I had a great time as well. You are a very friendly and fun person to be with and yes, you deserve a Rolex!
