Excellent tour & guide Masami. On time & very knowledgeable of the history of Nagasaki. All entry fees were included & 4.5 hours was a perfect amount of time for this tour. We had a wonderful day & many good memories!

Adrienne was a fantastic guide. As a resident of Nagasaki she was so knowledgeable about the city and, when asked, shared some of her family’s experiences living there which made the tour so much more interesting. She is also a super driver with excellent parking skills. One of our favorite tours of our trips to Japan.

We thoroughly enjoyed our private excursion with Xai, he was an absolute dream tour leader and we feel we’ve made a new friend. All communications via WhatsApp were courteous and extremely clear. We were met outside the cruise terminal and we were escorted around in the comfort of his car. Xai showed us, and told us many interesting facts about everywhere that we visited and more. We leant about the Japanese way of living, we chatted all the time and learnt many things. We were also driven to the top of the mountain (Inasayama Observation Deck) which gave fantastic 360 degree views. Xai was extremely considerate of our walking abilities and even looked up in advance and changed the gate we entered for Glover Garden. We were escorted back to our ship and given a complementary gift! and also many photos that Xai had kindly taken of us. Happy memories of a great day in Nagasaki.

The half day Nagasaki tour by car was just wonderful. We had a lovely, informative, tour guide. Michie was the best. She had a good command of English and was able to give us lots of historical facts. Plus, she was very upbeat. We really enjoyed this outing and would highly recommend it. Worth every penny.

It is a great way to see Nagasaki. Our tour guide tried very hard and we learned a lot from her. It would be better in the future if she would not tell us the same thing as what we are reading at a museum.

If you’re arriving in Nagasaki on a cruise, do yourself a favor and skip the crowded ship excursions. Touring with Kyoko was one of the highlights of our entire trip to Japan. Kyoko is a native of Nagasaki and speaks both English and Spanish. What made this tour truly exceptional was that she didn’t just teach us history, she shared her own family’s experiences after the atomic bombing. Those personal stories gave us an understanding of Nagasaki that no museum or guidebook could ever provide. We visited the hypocenter (Ground Zero), the Atomic Bomb Museum, and I found myself in tears looking at the photographs and reflecting on humanity’s capacity for cruelty while wishing for a more peaceful world. We also explored the beautiful Spectacles Bridge and the stunning Glover Garden, where Kyoko explained Nagasaki’s fascinating international history and the influence of the British merchants who once lived there. Kyoko was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about her city. She answered every question thoughtfully and even kept my 10-year-old daughter engaged throughout the day, which speaks volumes about her ability as a guide. This wasn’t just a sightseeing tour, it was an experience that helped us understand the history, culture, resilience, and spirit of Nagasaki through the eyes of someone who calls it home. Thank you, Kyoko, for giving our family such a meaningful and unforgettable day. We will remember it for the rest of our lives.
