Wir sind das einzige Unternehmen, das eine authentische Nachtwanderung im tropischen Regenwald am Fuße des majestätischen Vulkans Arenal anbietet. Darüber hinaus sind wir das einzige lokale Unternehmen mit der Zertifizierung „Familien- und kinderfreundlich“, ideal für gemeinsame Familienausflüge und geeignet für alle Altersgruppen. Dieses Erlebnis findet in einer 100% natürlichen Umgebung statt; es handelt sich nicht um eine kontrollierte Umgebung. Die Tiere leben in völliger Freiheit, daher ist jeder Spaziergang anders und die Sichtungen können sich von Nacht zu Nacht unterscheiden. In Begleitung eines erfahrenen Naturführers erkunden wir die Wanderwege des Aussichtspunkts Mirador El Silencio. Während der Tour werden wir nach Fröschen wie dem Sanduhrfrosch, dem Blue-Jeans-Frosch und dem legendären Rotaugenlaubfrosch Ausschau halten. Es ist auch möglich, exotische Insekten, Reptilien und Schlangen zu beobachten. Mit ein bisschen Glück finden wir vielleicht Säugetiere wie Faultiere, Opossums oder Ameisenbären. Um dieses Erlebnis sicher genießen zu können, ist es unerlässlich, geschlossene Schuhe zu tragen.

Tauchen Sie ein in einen der bekanntesten Wälder Costa Ricas mit unserer Nachttour in La Fortuna. Dieses Erlebnis beginnt pünktlich um 17:30 Uhr und lädt Sie ein, die Magie des tropischen Regenwaldes am Fuße des imposanten Vulkans Arenal zu entdecken. Bei diesem geführten Spaziergang erfahren Sie mehr über die geologische Geschichte, die unser Land geprägt hat, den Einfluss von Vulkanen auf das lokale Ökosystem und die Besonderheiten des Klimas der Region. Mit Einbruch der Nacht erwacht der Dschungel und Sie können die unglaubliche nachtaktive Flora und Fauna von La Fortuna beobachten. Zu den Tieren, die wir üblicherweise antreffen, gehören faszinierende Amphibien und Reptilien wie Glasfrösche, Baumfrösche, Regenfrösche, Feuchtwaldkröten und die Große Aga-Kröte; sowie Schlangen wie die Korallenotter, die Bocaracá, die Steinhandschlange und die bekannte Terciopelo. Es ist auch möglich, Säugetiere wie Nasenbären, Gürteltiere, Opossums, Brüllaffen, Weißgesichtaffen und Totenkopfäffchen zu beobachten.

Der inkludierte Transport gilt nur für Hotels im Stadtzentrum von Fortuna und für Hotels auf der Strecke zum Aussichtspunkt Mirador El Silencio. Die Abholzeit kann zwischen 30 und 40 Minuten vor Beginn der Aktivität variieren.

We had an amazing night tour around Arenal Volcano with Nei and Oli! We saw so many animals, and Nei’s knowledge about wildlife, plants and nature made the experience really interesting and educational. It was clear how passionate Nei is and we learned so much along the way. Oli, the driver, was also very friendly and kind-hearted and made us feel comfortable throughout the tour. A wonderful experience and definitely worth it!
We loved this walk! A top favorite of all the activities we did this week. The kids and adults loved seeing all the animals including frogs, snakes, and spiders. Eric was a great guide and we highly recommend this tour!

It's all about the guide. My guide, Eric, was awesome and had an amazing eye. The area covered is not that big so it's suitable for most. Not suitable for those who need an aid for mobility

This was a fantastic experience. On time hotel pickup, friendly and very funny guide Eddy, and we saw snakes; a variety of them, red eyed frogs, scorpions, spiders, freshwater crabs, stick bugs, butterflies and moths, fireflies; he told us to turn off all of our lights for a beautiful night view. We were given lamps, and he offered to take amazing photos for us and it was truly a great experience.. i had a 6 years old with me who was happy and taken care of! 100% would do it again.

Just didn’t think this was worth it at all. Saw spiders, bugs, and a few frogs. Didn’t need to walk through the forest at night for 2 hours just to see bugs. The frogs at the end were neat but not enough to make the whole trip worthwhile.

Our Night Walk takes place in a natural rainforest, where every tour is unique and wildlife sightings vary from night to night. We never use captive animals or artificially place wildlife along the trail, so what we encounter depends entirely on nature, the weather, and the animals' activity. Unlike experiences that focus only on ponds or gardens, our tour is a guided hike through the tropical rainforest at the base of Arenal Volcano. As we explore the forest, we search for a wide variety of nocturnal wildlife, including frogs, snakes, insects, spiders, birds, and mammals in their natural habitat. While many guests are excited to observe these animals and learn about the rainforest ecosystem, we understand that everyone's expectations are different. We appreciate your honest comments, and we're glad you enjoyed seeing the frogs at the end of the tour. Thank you again for visiting us, and we wish you a wonderful rest of your time in Costa Rica.
The experience was great, we had Eric as a guide, he was an awesome guy. Upfront he told us what we were looking for, and what the best places were to look. So that every guest was able to help and find as many animals as we could. The tour took almost 2 hours. And at the end we stopped by the pond were we saw multiple species of frogs and an eyelash viper. We were with a group of total 9 people, which is the maximum. Otherwise you won’t be able to hear the guide anymore. At first the price looked a little too much. But at the end it was a price I would gladly pay again. It is suitable for everyone who is able to walk a maximum of 2km downhill.

The activity turned out to be very interesting and we were able to observe several types of frogs, some spiders, and snakes.

Recommend if you drive - have a reliable car or a rental that can go over some small rocks - the entrance is not far from the main road but a vehicle with good tires is recommended. The tour itself was good and safe especially with our guide. Overall the trails are marked and well maintained. Like any trail - especially in a tropical setting and at night - do not stray from the trail. Wildlife was good and what I expected. If expecting to see a mountain lion or predator like species - keep your expectations down quite a bit as our guide mentioned they exist but overall tend to stay away from humans PLUS not a good idea to confront one of those no matter how tough you think you are. Overall thought the tour was good. Depending on your budget - it may or maybe be a bit on the pricey side compared to others. But I suspect you pay for what you get.

Our focus is on observing wildlife responsibly in its natural habitat, from frogs, snakes, insects, and spiders to birds and, with a bit of luck, nocturnal mammals.
