Schlechte oder gute Entscheidungen könnten zu Strafen wie Verwandlung in Tiere führen oder Glück wie Sieg im Kampf schenken. Vielköpfige Hydras bewohnten Seen, Kentauren lebten in dunklen Berghöhlen, Griffins flogen in den Himmel und die Inseln um Athen waren voller Bestien mit besonderen Kräften, von Minotaurus und Sirenen. TREFFEN MIT UNSEREM FORTGESCHRITTENER. Ihr Fortgeschrittener erwartet Sie am Hadriansbogen, der sich gegenüber dem beeindruckenden Tempel des Zeus (nicht betreten) befindet. Sie beginnen mit den Geschichten und Mythen rund um Zeus und seinen Einfluss auf die Bürger Athens. Dieser kolossale Tempel, der dem Zeus-Kopf der olympischen Götter gewidmet ist, stammt aus der Zeit vor der Akropolis und ist der größte, der jemals gebaut wurde und eines der Wunder der antiken Welt beherbergt: eine gigantische Statue des Zeus, die auf einem über 12 Meter hohen Thron sitzt und mit Gold, Elfenbein und Juwelen verkrustet ist. An den goldenen Sandalen des Gottes saß ein Olivenölreservoir, das sich auf der Statue spiegelte, so dass es schien, als würde sich der Gott erheben und das Tempeldach anheben. Man kann sich nur vorstellen, welchen Einfluss es auf die Besucher des Tages vor über 2500 Jahren hatte!

Our family of four, along with Grandma, had a wonderful private tour of the Acropolis and Acropolis Museum with Komissa. She was exceptional from start to finish. Komissa struck the perfect balance between being incredibly knowledgeable and keeping the experience engaging and approachable. She shared so much fascinating information about the sites and artifacts without ever overwhelming us with details. Her sense of humor and warm personality made the morning even more enjoyable. What impressed us most was her ability to tailor the experience to our group. She was equally skilled at supporting my mother, who has some mobility challenges, and keeping our two Greek mythology-loving boys (ages 11 and 13) completely engaged and excited throughout the tour. There was lots of trivia and quizzing - they had a blast! We highly recommend choosing the private tour option, especially during the busy summer season in Athens. Having a guide who knows how to navigate the crowds and personalize the experience made all the difference. Communication was excellent from the time we booked through the end of the tour. Komissa truly is the best, and we are so grateful we had the opportunity to spend the morning exploring Athens with her.
