Reiseverlauf
Unser erstes Ziel ist der Fuji, der höchste und berühmteste Berg Japans. Unser Ziel ist es, den höchsten erreichbaren Punkt des Berges zu erreichen. Vom späten Frühling bis zum späten Herbst besuchen wir typischerweise die 5. Station, die sich auf einer Höhe von 2.300 Metern über dem Meeresspiegel befindet, wo Sie einen herrlichen Blick auf den Fuji genießen können. Von Ende November bis Mitte Mai ist die 5. Station jedoch wegen Schnees geschlossen. In diesem Fall besuchen wir einen der folgenden alternativen Orte: das Weltkulturerbezentrum des Berges Fuji oder die 1., 2. oder 4. Station.
Sie werden ein einzigartiges und köstliches Mittagessen im japanischen Stil in einem Restaurant in der Stadt Gotemba erleben. Eine vegetarische Option ist ebenfalls verfügbar.
Nach dem Mittagessen machen wir einen kurzen Halt an einem versteckten Aussichtspunkt des Fuji, dem Gotemba Heiwa Park (Friedenspark). Der Park verfügt über viele einzigartige Strukturen und Denkmäler sowie schöne Kirschbäume. Wenn Sie das Glück haben, während der Kirschblütensaison zu besuchen, werden Sie von atemberaubenden Ausblicken auf rosa Blüten vor der Kulisse des Fuji überrascht sein.
Owakudani bedeutet wörtlich „Großes kochendes Tal“ und ist ein bekanntes Vulkantal, das für seine Schwefelquellen und schwarzen Eier bekannt ist, bei denen es sich um in heißem Quellwasser gekochte Eier handelt.
Nachdem wir unser Mittagessen genossen haben, besuchen wir Hakone, einen der berühmtesten Thermalorte Japans. Unsere erste Aktivität in Hakone ist eine malerische Fahrt mit der Himmelgondel. Es ist eine einfache Fahrt mit der Seilbahn, die uns ins Owakudani-Tal bringt.
Unsere letzte Aktivität ist eine Seekreuzfahrt auf einem atemberaubenden Piratenschiff! Genießen Sie eine 30-minütige Bootsfahrt, die Ihnen einen herrlichen Blick auf den Ashi-See, das berühmte Torii-Tor, die umliegenden Berge und natürlich den Berg Fuji bietet!
Unser letzter Halt ist der Bahnhof Odawara. Passagiere, die mit dem Bus zurück nach Tokio fahren, haben am Bahnhof eine 10-minütige Pause. Passagiere, die sich für den Hochgeschwindigkeitszug entscheiden oder einen Japan Rail Pass besitzen, steigen am Bahnhof in den Hochgeschwindigkeitszug ein. Ihr Reiseleiter informiert Sie über die Rückkehr zu Ihrem Hotel, nachdem Sie am Bahnhof Tokio aus dem Hochgeschwindigkeitszug ausgestiegen sind.
Die Fahrt mit dem Kugelzug vom Bahnhof Odawara zum Bahnhof Tokio dauert etwa 35 Minuten und Sie werden zwischen 18:30 und 19:00 Uhr am Bahnhof Tokio ankommen. Die Tour endet am Bahnhof Tokio. Wenn Sie Hilfe benötigen, hilft Ihnen Ihr Guide gerne mit Wegbeschreibungen für lokale Züge oder U-Bahnen oder zeigt Ihnen den nächstgelegenen Taxistand.

In solchen Situationen bringt Sie Ihr Reiseleiter zu einem oder zwei alternativen Sehenswürdigkeiten, wie dem Friedenspark in Gotemba, dem Hakone-Schrein, dem Hakone-Geo-Museum, der Hakone-Komagatake-Seilbahn, dem Berg Komagatake, einer Hakone-Ashinoko-Bootsfahrt, dem Narukawa-Museum oder einer Bootsfahrt auf dem Kawaguchi-See oder der Panoramaseilbahn Mt. Fuji.
- Wenn die Straße zur 5. Station des Mt. Fuji aufgrund von Schnee oder aus anderen Gründen gesperrt ist, mit starkem Verkehr zu rechnen ist oder die Tour hinter dem Zeitplan zurückbleibt, fahren wir zum höchsten zugänglichen Punkt. Bitte beachten Sie, dass die Touren auch unter diesen Umständen nicht storniert werden können und der Tourpreis nicht erstattet wird.
- Bei Nahrungsmittelallergien oder diätetischen Einschränkungen müssen wir Ihnen leider mitteilen, dass wir keine Sondermahlzeiten anbieten können. In solchen Fällen bitten wir Sie, die Tourvariante ohne Mittagessen zu wählen.
- Wenn Teilnehmer, die nach der Tour am Bahnhof Odawara aussteigen, Verspätungen haben und ihren planmäßigen Zug aus Gründen des starken Verkehrs oder des Betriebs nicht erwischen können, wird keine Rückerstattung geleistet. Bitte nehmen Sie stattdessen nicht reservierte Plätze im Folgezug ein.
- Wir empfehlen warme Kleidung und Regenkleidung, einschließlich Regenmantel und Regenschirm, für Ihren Besuch mitzubringen.

- Ein Taxi kann für den Abholservice genutzt werden. Aus betrieblichen Gründen kann es vorkommen, dass ein Guide Sie während des Abholservices nicht begleitet. Der Abholservice in jedem Hotel ist verfügbar, wenn die Reservierung mehr als eine Stunde vor der geplanten Abholzeit erfolgt.

A day filled with many modes of travel: walking, bus, gondola, cruise, bullet train, taxi! Izzy was our guide and taught us many things on our 10 hour trip. She was constantly giving us information: we learned to count in Japanese , sing a song about Mt. Fuji, we had a set meal hot pot, learned about black eggs, etc. it was a cloudy, misty day- we could not see Mt. Fuji. She never left us and made sure we made it back to our correct exits from the train station! A wonderful day ! Our bus driver was also a very safe driver!

On 1st June 2026 my wife and I (visiting from Australia) joined this tour. Hotel pick-up was timely and we were taken to the group gathering point in Shinjuku. Thereafter our local tour guide Yuki accompanied us by coach to the various highlights, the 1st being the 5th station (topmost) on Mt Fuji itself. We were blessed with fine weather throughout and the various stopping points and lunch were all excellent. Yuki was knowledgeable, professional, funny and well organized, her commentary throughout the 10+ hour trip was fascinating. We had JR Rail passes so didn't need the Gray Line shinkensen tickets when the tour party dispersed. For a casual visitor to Japan / Tokyo this tour would not have been possible w/o a car and working knowledge of the Hakone area, so such a full day was excellent value for money.

The pickup at our hotel was extremely convenient because it’s rather early to try to get somewhere else for pickup. We had a slightly late start, but our pickup guide Kyoko was there for us to keep us updated. She was very knowledgeable. The main tour guide, Yuki, was great, but they need to turn up the volume on the PA a little. Yuki kept us on track throughout the day. The driver Ono-san was accommodating and stopped to let us get pics of the peak during a moment of sunshine. Both kids and adults enjoyed the various stops. The bullet train return to Tokyo was a great opportunity to ride one. Would recommend.

Our tour guide, Mikami, was very knowledgeable about all of the places we went and added fun tutorials along the way. She kept everything on time and was extremely helpful in guiding us after the bullet train. Mt Fuji is amazing, Peace Park gorgeous, gondola ride exhilarating, and boat ride relaxing. Amazing day!

Overall a great experience. This tour is best for tourists who would like to visit a variety of landmarks near Mt Fuji and Hakone before dinner time, but there is no brief hiking segment for Mt Fuji . Total trip took around six to seven hours. This guided tour cost about $160 per adult, which seems fair given the tour guide, bus driver, optional lunch meal, and admission tickets to account for. The Mt. Fuji stop may feel slightly short, there is no brief hiking course involved. The optional Japanese-style lunch felt very much like a comforting, home-cooked meal. The Pirate Boat Lake Cruise segment may feel out of place, but Lake Ashi was wonderful and the ship is practically brand new with plenty of observation decks provided for some fantastic views. The tour guide kept people engaged with interesting facts about the landmarks of this tour and Japan in general throughout the bus ride. I strongly recommend reading the details of the tour itinerary to better understand the overall scope of this tour and the depth of each stop. Our tour group had plenty of vacant bus seats, enough for us to sit wherever we wanted. If seeing Mt Fuji is your main priority, try to hold off on booking until you can check the most accurate weather forecast. I’d recommend checking the 24-to-48-hour visibility index or live camera feeds right before you reserve your spot. This tour is not for you if you expect to climb Mt Fuji even for a brief moment.

It was raining when we left Tokyo, so I wasn't expecting much. I told myself that even if we couldn't see Mt. Fuji, I would just enjoy the day trip. The guide was very friendly and shared lots of interesting information during the bus ride, which made the journey enjoyable. To our surprise, the weather improved as we got closer to Mt. Fuji. When we reached the 5th Station, the clouds had cleared and we had an amazing view of the mountain. Seeing Mt. Fuji appear after such a gloomy start made the experience even more special. It turned out to be one of the highlights of my trip to Japan.

A fabulous day out. 8:30am-7pm.. Immaculate coach and informative guide.. Key stops at Mt Fiji, Lunxh, Shizuaka Peace Park, Hanone Goldola and thermals, Lake Cruise and returned to Toyko Station on the Shinkansen (Bullet Train).

Weather was good and the trip was very busy approximately 12 hour's the guide was fantastic very knowledgeable and the bus driver was good too. I would advise you take your own food though as the food we had was OK just.... so all in all a very busy day but well worth it
