Begeben Sie sich auf eine eintägige Kleingruppentour zum Mount Cook. Von Queenstown aus erleben Sie die einzigartige alpine Landschaft der Südalpen auf Ihrer Reise ins Mackenzie Country und zum Aoraki Mount Cook Nationalpark. Genießen Sie Ihre Freizeit im Mt. Cook Village, wo Sie die unglaubliche Landschaft erkunden, eine kurze Wanderung unternehmen, einen Rundflug unternehmen oder einen entspannten Nachmittag im Dorf verbringen können.

Nachdem Sie Queenstown verlassen haben, ist Cromwell, „Fruit Bowl of the South“, unser erster berühmter Stopp mit seinen großen Obstskulpturen. Cromwell ist das Zentrum von Central Otago, der berühmten Weinregion für Pinot Noir.
Auf der Fahrt zum Mount Cook fahren wir durch den dramatischen Lindis Pass. Bewundern Sie die spektakuläre Hochlandlandschaft, wenn wir von Central Otago in das Mackenzie-Becken fahren.
Wir machen einen kurzen Halt im malerischen Dorf Omarama, wo Sie die Möglichkeit haben, einen Snack oder Essen zum Mitnehmen zum Mittagessen in Mt Cook zu bekommen. Von hier aus machen wir uns auf den Weg, vorbei an den Twizel-Kanälen, in Richtung des hellblauen Wassers des Lake Pukaki.
Bevor wir das Mount Cook Village betreten, machen wir einen Halt am Ufer des Lake Pukaki, dem größten See der Gegend, der stolz Neuseelands höchsten Gipfel, Aoraki/Mount Cook, zeigt.
Willkommen im Dorf Mount Cook. Hier haben Sie etwas Freizeit, um diesen dramatischen Ort zu genießen. Machen Sie einen Spaziergang zum Lake Mueller, um die Gletscher des Mt. Sefton aus nächster Nähe zu sehen, wandern Sie entlang des Hooker Valley Track oder nutzen Sie die Gelegenheit, eine der unglaublichen Aktivitäten zu erleben, die Mt. Cook zu bieten hat.
Anschließend treten wir die Rückreise nach Queenstown an. Nach einem anstrengenden Tag voller Sehenswürdigkeiten können Sie sich entspannen und die unglaubliche Landschaft genießen. Wir geben Ihnen die Möglichkeit, sich während der gesamten Reise die Beine zu vertreten, und kehren gegen 19:30 Uhr nach Queenstown zurück.

Bitte notieren Sie sich die Zeit, die unser Team mit Ihnen bestätigt, und seien Sie 10 Minuten vor Ihrer Abfahrtszeit am Abholort. Unser Reiseleiter wartet bis zu 5 Minuten nach Ihrer Abfahrtszeit. Zuspätkommende, die die Tour verpassen, haben keinen Anspruch auf eine Rückerstattung.

- Mount Cook ist eine alpine Umgebung und es ist wichtig, warme Kleidung, eine Regenjacke und bequeme Schuhe zum Wandern mitzubringen.
- Der Hooker Valley Trek ist ein Wanderweg des DOC (Department of Conservation) und wir empfehlen nur Personen mit mittlerer Fitness, den gesamten Weg zu bewältigen (wetterabhängig). Wir haben eine strikte Abfahrtszeit von Mt Cook Village und alle Wanderer müssen bis zu dieser Zeit zurück sein.

The trip was amazing and contained a few highlights, including the hooker valley trek and a paid upgrade option to experience alpine snow landing. Everything was smoothly organised and run by the tour operators (altitude) and our guide for the day, Sinchan, was amazing, helpful and super knowledgeable.

Tour to Mount Cook was fantastic. Lovely sunny day meant beautiful views both along the way and at Mount Cook. Walked to Hooker Trail for more great views. James and Nicole were great- friendly and informative. Altitude tours ran everything well from great communication before tour, pickup on time and comfy van. Will tour with them again!!.

We absolutely loved our Mount Cook day trip with Stuart and Caleb! We got lucky with a beautifully clear day and our time at Mount Cook and the Hooker Valley Track walk and Alpine Center lunch was perfect. Our guides had entertaining and informational commentary and we enjoyed getting to chat with them and learning more about the area. We even had time for a few fun stops on the way and got to see more of the landscape. We would 100% book with Altitude again!

Our first tour going to Mt. Cook was full of knowledge, smiles and laughter even when we were still in the van. SinChan deserves a pay rise, promotion and an award. He is such a passionate tour guide. His vibe is just amazing. We had a number of tour guides before but this man is just outstanding in all aspects. Absolutely incredible day tour from Queenstown to Mount Cook National Park. Sinchan was our driver and tour guide and would absolutely recommend him. He was energetic, fun and very knowledgeable! The drive itself was beautiful as was Mount Cook National Park. As per Sinchan’s recommendation we did a 25 minute helicopter ride which was an experience I recommend for all! Landing ontop of a mountain and looking down at a glacier was incredible! Definitely the highlight of the trip

We had such an amazing time to Mt Cook yesterday. We made multiple stops along the way with the most stunning views. We were also lucky enough to do a 25minute helicopter ride which was such a bucket list moment. We couldn’t recommend our tour guide enough - Sinchan was so knowledgeable and made our experience so smooth and comfortable.

Did the tour to Mt Cook and option of 25 min yesterday 24 April. Tour guide Chelsea was very knowledgeable and ensured we all had a great time. Even stopped to get an awesome sunset photo on the way back to Queenstown. Recommend the Heli ride ! Bonkaz!

Allegra was a great tour guide- a literal Unicorn! My 19 year old son and I had a great time on the very nice van up to Mount Cook. We got some amazing pictures, good food, and a seamless helicopter ride! I would totally do it again!
