Eine eintägige Kilimandscharo-Reise führt Sie hinauf zur Mandara-Hütte und zurück zum Eingangstor.

Unsere Guides treffen am Morgen im Hotel ein, um Sie zu treffen und eine kurze Einweisung zu geben. Anschließend werden Sie zum östlichen Eingang des Kilimandscharo-Nationalparks gebracht: Marangu Gate (1.860 m/6.046 f)). Nach der kurzen Formalität der Registrierung der Klettergenehmigungen und der Anmeldung beim Rettungsdienst beginnt die Gruppe mit dem Aufstieg zur Mandara-Hütte (2.700 m/8.858 ft). Die Trekkingroute beinhaltet eine Passage durch den Regenwald, wo tropische Schauer sehr wahrscheinlich sind. Wir empfehlen daher, Regenmäntel mitzunehmen. Wenn Sie das Camp erreichen, werden Sie mit Lunchpaketen versorgt. Nach dem Mittagessen können Sie eine Wanderung zum wunderschönen Maundi-Krater in der Nähe unternehmen. Es dauert etwa 30 Minuten. Danach beginnen Sie mit dem Abstieg zum Ausgang des Parks – dem Marangu-Tor. Dort holt Sie unser Fahrer ab und fährt Sie zu Ihrem Hotel in der Stadt Moshi.

What I particularly loved about this magnificent experience is the interaction with the driver, who is a well of knowledge: he talked to me a lot about the Kisuahili language, the natural reserves/parks/mountains and cities to visit in Tanzania, the different tribes one encounters, the specific fruits of each city he is driving through... about Tanzanian culture. Finally, when the hike on Kilimanjaro began, I was immensely impressed by the beauty of the ecosystem found there: full of vine trees, species of monkeys, and the abundant variety of birds. Even the sound environment is interesting: you listen to the different melodies of the birds and the sounds of monkeys communicating with each other. And of course, when you reach the highest point of the hike, there is immense pride in having been able to (thanks to the guide) arrive at this spot. The only downside is that the hike is so beautiful that one wants to go further towards the summit (of course in several stages with shelters), and not immediately return to the base camp.
The hike, our mountain guide Zeno, our driver Nasibu, our contact person Innocent were all absolutely incredible. We had a wonderful experience in the Kilimanjaro National park, beautiful scenery equipped with everything we needed. Our guide, William was impeccable and extremely kind, knowledgeable, and attentive.
The tour was fantastic. Thel park is beautiful and we had such a great guide. He was so friendly and answered all our questions. And the cook was brilliant. The food was so incredibly good! On top of all that, sleeping in tents between you was just unique! I would recommend it to anyone!

Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut:- ▪️Route: Marangu Gate (1,870m) to Mandara Hut (2,720m). ▪️Distance: Approx. 8km ▪️Duration: 4-5 hours ▪️Accommodation: Mandara Hut Dress code: Base Layer: Basic Breathable shirt and hiking pants. Foot wear: walking shoes / sketchers / sports shoes. The trail was not intimidating and it didn’t require much energy. Moving at sustainable pace, we made it to Mandara Hut in under 4 hours 😀
