Khmisa und Kawtar, zwei marokkanische Frauen mit Leidenschaft für das Kochen, begrüßen Sie in Marrakesch zu einer Mahlzeit bei Khmisa im Herzen der Medina in der reinen marokkanischen Küche Tradition und in einer familiären und warmen Atmosphäre. Khmisa, seit 25 Jahren Küchenchef, spezialisiert auf marokkanische Küche und Gebäck, hat für mehrere renommierte Hotelbetriebe in den Städten Rabat und Marrakesch gearbeitet. Kawtar, der mit einem Bachelor-Abschluss in Gastfreundschaft und Tourismus abgeschlossen hat, unterstützt Sie auch während Ihres Kochkurses und hilft bei der Kommunikation zwischen Ihnen und dem Chefkoch. Bei der Ankunft begrüßen wir Sie mit einem traditionellen Minztee und besprechen mit Ihnen die Menüwahl, die sich aus den typischsten marokkanischen Gerichten zusammensetzt. Zuerst fahren wir mit Küchenchef Khmisa zum Old Souk. Ein Spaziergang durch den Souk, um die frische Zutat zu kaufen. Zu Hause angekommen, beginnen wir mit der Vorbereitung.

I regret a lack of time to communicate, and not having a written recipe at the end... We go fast and we each make a small element instead of learning a recipe. It's a shame

What a great experience, we were met at the location and went to the market to pick up the ingredients, these were all explained to us, we got to see how to make traditional Moroccan tea and how to pour it. When cooking the meal everyone was included the explanation of what we were doing made sense, we made 4 starters and 2 mains (a chicken and a vegetarian option) and a dessert, it all tasted amazing the 2 chefs were very welcoming and friendly, we then received copies of the recipes to take home to try ourselves, would highly recommend
My son and I took this class together and really enjoyed it. It was nice to do something a bit different. The class was relaxed and we learnt how to make some Moroccan starters and a tagine main course (a vegetarian option was accommodated for me) that we can try to recreate at home.
We had a great time sharing around the table for the meal preparation and surprise, we also shared a real meal to taste our preparations. We can't wait to make these good recipes at home again! Thank you!!

They said we didnt turn up even though we had a time stamed photo of us at the location Do not book Scam Scam Scam scam We waited 30 min in 40 degree hest and they did not show These people are con artists
Hello Sonny, Our guide was at the designated meeting point with the rest of the group and waited for 15 minutes after the scheduled meeting time. During that time, we also attempted to contact you by phone, text message, and email. These contact attempts were confirmed by TripAdvisor, but unfortunately we did not receive any response. Several hours later, you contacted us to explain that you had gone to a different meeting location than the one clearly stated on your ticket and booking confirmation. We understand how frustrating it is to miss a tour, but in this case our team was present at the correct meeting point and made multiple efforts to reach you. We have been operating this experience for many years, and our more than 5,000 reviews reflect the reliability and quality of the service we provide. We always strive to help our guests whenever possible and regret that you missed the experience.
Great experience, from shopping for the ingredients, to cooking the foods. Everything was explained to us, and we each got a chance to be involved in chopping and adding the ingredients.

Great mother-daughter workshop, we go to the market, cook, discover spices, eat, all in a small group. We were only with one mother and her 2 children in our case. We leave with the recipes and techniques (ultimately very easy to reproduce at home). Very interesting!
A wonderful experience, first meeting up and shopping for our ingredients and then preparing them for the starters and for main Chicken Tajine meal. Great guidance, participation, and engagement and the food was amazing each step of the way. This will inspire you not only as a great experience, but give you a desire to repeat some of these recipes where you go. One thing I also enjoyed was pouring the Moroccan tea with bubbles.
