Kapitän Dave Amsterdam führte vor Jahren frühmorgendliche Kreuzfahrten in Amsterdam ein. Wir segeln früh, wenn die Kanäle ruhig und ruhig sind – die beste Zeit für entspanntes Cruisen und schöne Fotos. Im Gegensatz zu Standard-Touren mit festen Routen und Kommentaren sind unsere Kreuzfahrten persönlich, informativ und unterhaltsam. Jede Tour ist anders. Wir starten entlang des berühmten Kanalrings (UNESCO Kulturerbe) und lassen uns von der Stadt Fortgeschrittener werden. Unsere Boote: Um 8:00 & 10:00 Uhr fahren wir auf dem Jonckvrouw – einem intimen, vollelektrischen Navigationsdenkmal aus dem Jahr 1928, das einst von den Niederländischen Königen genutzt wurde. Sie verfügt über Glasschiebefenster, ein Schiebedach, ein offenes Achterdeck, Heizung und eine Toilette zur leichten Nutzung. Um 8:30 & 10:30 Uhr segeln wir auf unserem legendären James Bond Boot, einem ehemaligen Taxiboot mit 360°-Vollsicht, perfekt für Fotografie. Toilette an Bord. Wonderful! We were not loving Amsterdam but this cruise gave us a different perspective. There were only 6 of us on the boat and we got so much information and got to ask questions. We enjoyed complimentary drinks, coffee and delicious traditional sugar bread. Our captain, Gisela, was lovely, interesting and made us feel at home on her boat. We took a different , larger canal cruise earlier this week and this was so much better!
Lovely and wonderful tour — even our teenagers enjoyed it! Gisele was a great captain who had many insights as a true local. Drinks and bread were great too. Thanks Captain Dave and Gisele!
Our early morning canal cruise with Captain Dave was a fabulous introduction to Amsterdam on our first day. Jan was a great guide providing excellent commentary and information about Amsterdam interspersed with humor and wit. The canals were so peaceful and quiet in the morning allowing us to take in the beauty of the city. I highly recommend this tour - you’ll not be disappointed.
Fun, up close tour of Amsterdam with loads of history, geography, and bits of wisdom laced with good humor. We enjoyed the serenity of the small group experience in a boat with an electric motor so we could hear everything from the Captain Jan, a local, without a microphone. Fantastic views of a beautiful city.
Very relaxed boat tour . Small group and conversational guide
A canal tour is an excellent way to see the neighborhoods, and especially a tour with this company. The boat is small enough to navigate into narrower canals and is absolutely charming. The guide, Roman, was wonderful and knowledgeable. Our family really enjoyed the experience.
Our Morning Canal Cruise with Captain Dave was a wonderful introduction to Amsterdam on our first day. Dave wasn’t there but Jan was and his commentary was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed learning more about the history of Amsterdam and appreciated his sense of humor. The canals and city were so peaceful in the morning we were really able to enjoy the city. I highly recommend this tour - you will not be disappointed.

Thanks to Gisela, this was the highlight of our four days in Amsterdam. Gisela hosted us in such a lovely, relaxed and informative manner, it was like we were cruising with an old friend. We highly recommend the early morning cruise - it was blissfully quiet and it allowed us to soak up the beauty of the city.
Loved our morning canal cruise. Great walk around Amsterdam at 7 am, to get to the location along the canal, literally no one stirring. The captain was very knowledgeable about the area, we learned alot, the captain gave us recommendations for things to do and special places to eat, the boat ride was relaxing. I would definetly recommend this company.
